"Nevaeh? Nevaeh? Are you okay? Nevaeh get up, it's our rows turn." I snapped out of my day dream, I didn't know how long they were whispering my name for but the row was waiting for me to stand so they can walk across the stage.
"Oh yea sorry guys." I stood up and walked to the stage that hypnotized me, it was finally our turn to walk across it. As the ones in front of me walked I looked out and saw the man of my dreams sitting along with the other teachers but what surprised me was the two other chairs next to him were occupied by two children. The momma's boy and the little princess that was a spitting image of myself, wiggling about as they were bored. Looking back to the stage I heard my name get called, walking forth shaking the hand of the principal, smiling widely as I grabbed my diploma.
"I did it, I graduated." I heard whooping and cheering as my classmates and parents and family cheered on my success. Walking off stage back to the cold metal chair where I had flashbacks of my senior year.
My first day as a senior was Jayden's first day in school. It seemed as if it were ages ago, walking into this school for the first last time of my high school career not knowing what to expect. Though it was fate walking into Mr McClain, seeing his face for the first time not knowing it was going to be a face where I would find my true love. Feeling electric sparks flowing from toes to fingers as he helped me up. The fights we had about stupid shit, the memories of the first time I met his family spending Christmas with them and becoming his fiancé. It would be a few months after that I would have the best and worst day of my life as I found out I was pregnant but was the day I would be kidnapped from my home by a sick pervert who stalked me from the time I got here in San Antonio. Spending countless days with him studying my schoolwork and nights wearing the wedding dress of the female who had left him. I felt my head twinge as I embrace the falling car that hit me in the vehicle I had escaped with. The moments in the hospital as my little Eli would be too scared to look at me, leaving the hospital and going home with my kids and Brody, all those moments of time had lead me to this moment.
I had done it again we were all standing throwing our caps off as it symbolized that we ever finally done. Everyone was crying and cheering, people were hugging me and crying on my shoulders as I walked by each one of them looking for those three faces that I knew would be my family.
At last I found them, "Congratulations angle, you've done it!" Brody whispered into my ear as he gave me a hug. Letting go of the embrace and bending down to hug my baby boy and girl as they didn't quite understand what the big celebration was about but they smiled and returned the hugs. Familiar arms wrapped around me as Amelia cried and cried such happy tears. She got pulled away as Brody's mother, Madeline gave me a hug and a congratulations. "Now we just have to plan that wedding of yours!" She exclaimed giving her son a hug and picking up Eli, cooing her with love and affection.
"You ready sweetheart? Dinner or go home, your choice." He spoke into my ear as we were surrounded by loud cheering.
"Of course we're going to go to dinner! The whole family is here!" Madeline pulled us to the exit as we saw literally the whole family near the door. Timothy, soon to be my father in law, was waiting so very "patiently" wanting to leave the crowed gymnasium.
"No no please Madeline let us go home? I'm not wanting to go out. We can go out to dinner another night" I pleaded with her as she looked put down. I did feel terrible but I just wanted to go home...

"That's the story of my senior year Madeline, there's nothing to fear of a little adventure going into the senior year. But please be careful if you do find that boy to have se-" Speaking to the grandbaby who still visits, the one who was named after her great grandma.
"Okay okay grandma! I get it! You don't need to have the talk with me!" She spoke into her hands as her face turned ruby red.
Reaching out to move her thick black hair that she inherited from her grandpa, out of her face, looking into her eyes that were the same violet color as her momma's eyes, Elizabeth. "You have the full summer before the first day baby, it's going to be okay. No need to stress about it now."
"So what was your wedding like ? I've seen pictures of it, and momma has spoken about it! You were gorgeous in that lace dress. And the twinkling lights as the sun set! I would love to have a wedding like that." Madeline looked as if she was picturing her future wedding. "But yea, how was your life after high school with grandpa?" Her eyes sparkled as she sat there waiting for me to tell the story of mine and her grandpa Brody's life.
"Now now darling, don't you have any other plans than hearing an old woman's tales?" Smiling down at the 17 year old girl who had the same cheerful attitude as her mother was growing up.
"No of course not! I love hearing about how you grew up!" Madeline sat down crisscross and staring up at me in my wheelchair.
"Well I was standing at the end of the isle, waiting for the most beautiful woman in the world to walk down. The moment I saw those doors open she took my breath away...." His voice was still enough to make my old heart stop, a warm familiar hand touched my shoulder looking down at me with such love that I still can't believe possible...
