"Okay, lets just get this over with." I say as I sit on the piano bench.
He nods as he sits down next to me.
"I have an idea." He says.
I look at him letting him know that he can keep talking.
"God knows I never meant to hurt you." He sings as he plays the piano.
"I never meant to break your heart, your heart babe." He continues.
He looks at me letting me know it's my turn.
"God knows I never meant to turn you on, to turn you out."
"Never meant to take it that far." We say together.
"I like that." I say.
He softly chuckles.
"I'I'm write my own verse and you write yours." He says.
I nod.
I sigh. "Ken, you can come see Kennedi tomorrow." I blurt out.
"You're not mad anymore?" He asks.
"I can't keep her away from you.. she's your daughter as much as she's mine." I say fiddling with my fingers.
"Thanks Tone, can't wait to see her." He says.
I softly smile as we both begin to admire each other.
He moves in for a kiss and I don't budge.
There's something about him.. I can't stay mad at him.. It's like I crave him.
I then come back to reality.
I pull away from the kiss. "Ken, you're married."
"Newly divorced." He says.
I look at him crazy.
"She couldn't accept the fact that I have a baby and also that it's not from her.. also she is a jealous, asinine bitch.." He says.
I shake my head while laughing. "She's a HAM."
"Damn right." He says.
I softly chuckle as I stand up to leave.
Before Leaving, I say my goodbyes.
