The Forms (Forums, etc.)- a chapter in a roleplay book for being accepted and generating your character. In other words, it means that the form is where you will submit your character for acceptance into the roleplay.
Most human roleplay forms will be layed out somewhat like this:
Name: name
Gender: male or female
Age: age
Appearance: hair color, eye color, and (optional) details such as a scar or slender build
Personality: how your character acts or thinks
Backstory: (optional) your characters life before the roleplay
Strengths/Weaknesses: your character's flaws and things they are good at
Crush: (optional) crushExample of a (VERY BASIC) Human Roleplay Form:
Name | Solstice
Gender | Female
Age | 16
Appearance | long black haired girl with clear green eyes and a slender build
Personality | perceptive and very empathic, but can be scatterbrained and forgetful. She tries to be organized but is better at being sporadic. She is very sensitive and is hurt easily, but is fierce wheb you go after her friends.
Backstory | (depends on the type of roleplay) born in London, attends a boarding school. Has two siblings, both younger. Her mother is American and her father is British.
*Crush | None yet (Open)* Four ways to say crush:
(1) say "open" which means anyone can have a crush on her
(2) "none yet", which means you don't know who your character has a crush on yet
(3) "none" which means never at all, or the character's name that you want yours to have a crush on,
(4) both "none yet" and "open"
•Remember: it's always good to ask the owner of a character if you can have a crush on them. However, since each roleplay is unique, there will usually be more to the form then the basic one above. A few other things that might be on the form include:
-Weapons
-Rank (For a village, city etc. Ex: Leader, Medic, Citizen, Scholar)
-Village Tribe, City (which village, Tribe, or city you live in)
-Abilities (for power roleplaying. Ex: telekinesis, has wings, etc. )Most animal roleplay forms will be layed out somewhat like this:
Name: cannot be human name like Emma since it is an animal Roleplay.
Gender: Male or Female
Age: cats ages are usually in Moons, and dragons or other creatures such as Wolves are in human years
Clan or pack: Included things such as BrookClan, Rainpack, etc. Wolves live in packs and Warriors Cats live in Clans. For Wings of Fire fans it will be tribe: Icewing, Nightwing, etc.
Rank: such as Medicine Cat, healer, Warrior, Hunter, Leader, Deputy, alpha, beta, etc.
Appearance: fur color and eye color
Personality: how your character acts or thinks
Backstory: where your character was before the roleplay
M/C/K or something similar: M/C/K stands for Mate Crush Kits, and there will be similar things such as Mate/Crush/Cubs and Mate/ Family/Kits
Other: here is where you provide extra details such as a quirk or habitExample of a (VERY BASIC) Animal Roleplay Form:
Name | Solstice
Gender | Female
Age | 32 moons
Pack |Rainpack
Rank | Healer
Appearance | Silver wolf with striking green eyes
Personality | calm and caring, can get moody and aloof, is grumpy in the mornings
Backstory | born in pack
*M/C/K: Crush is Equinox
Other: loves to sort herbs*A word about M/C/K: most Warriors Cats roleplays do not allow the Medicine cat to have a mate, but other animal roleplays might.
Again, like in human roleplays, there will probably be more items added, like strengths and weaknesses or ambitions or other things like that.
