the world is as tasteless as the loneliness that used to taste like iron. you are an angel fallen from the sky. i mean, god, babe, you look so damn beautiful in that shirt in these fluorescent lights. if you kiss me you'll smell the way you do in the morning like wet hair and soap, and something nice I can't quite put my finger on.

       you beautiful child,
      pull me closer than ever.
      make me feel more whole

ii.
i want us to slow dance to flatsound in the middle of nowhere. your body pressed to mine like warm magnets with uncontrollable emotions. kiss me until everything falls into place into gentle cacophony, careful catastrophe. you are so more than just typical.

      please just spin me 'round
       like your favourite record
       make me feel pretty

iii.
nothing compares to the way my heart swells whenever i see your beautiful face. also, can we talk a while? i want you in my general vicinity a while longer, so i call your name and you raise both eyebrows, and i laugh, and you smile. there is nothing in this world that makes me feel more whole than the way you seem to be so beautiful, and perfect when you smile at me like that.

       you are a golden one
       with your nonexistent flaws
       and those sea blue eyes
