A True Love Story: Scorpius and Rose [ON HOLD]

Hogsmeade

Hey guys! So sorry I didn't upload on Friday! I was hanging with my friends and then every time I would try to write it would be late at night and I would fall asleep. So, I decided I would upload only once a week for each of my stories since I'm quite busy all the time. But if I have extra time and I feel like writing I might had a few bonus chapters here and there. Hope you enjoy!

Rose POV

I had recently started my 3rd year at Hogwarts and it was now November 1st, the day of our first Hogsmeade trip. I was overly excited to finally get to go to Hogsmeade after my parents had told me so much about it! Al, Scorp, Alice, Taylor, Harlee, and I were all going together as friends. I was kind of sad that my brother Hugo and cousin Lily couldn't join us, but that was okay, I guess, since we see them every day since they both made it in Gryffindor. So did Frank Longbottom II, Alice's little brother. I woke up at 8:00 and hurriedly got ready to go downstairs.
"WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP!!" I yelled at the other girls in my dorm as I pulled the covers off of them. They all groaned but got out of bed not too long later. I ran downstairs and waited for my friends to come down. As soon as they came down we walked to the Great Hall and ate breakfast.

After we finished eating we told the boys our plan:
"We are going back to our dorm to get our stuff, we will meet in the entrance hall at 10:00. Sound good?" I asked. Al and Scorp nodded. Good, I thought.

We had just managed to get out of Gryffindor towers and make it to the entrance hall right on time and luckily before the crowd of students going to the village. We gave our permission slips to Professor Longbottom and then hurried to the village. Upon entering, we immediately decided to go to the Three Broomsticks first for some Butterbeer. It tasted wonderful! It was warm and was soothing to drink.

After we finished our Butterbeers we decided to go to Honeydukes for some sweets. Upon walking in, we all smelled the chocolate and candy smell that lingered in the air just tempting you to buy as much as you could hold. I bought some Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, my personal favorite, like my dad, loads of chocolate frogs, and a licorice wand. Al and Scorp also bought some chocolate frogs and licorice wands, whereas Alice, Taylor, and Harlee bought a Cauldron Cake to share and a bundle of lollipops. We then decided to check out the new Weasley's Wizard Wheezes that had just opened. My Uncle George had decided to open up a shop in Hogsmeade last year. Him and my dad co-owned the shops so they switched off who worked where. Today it was my Uncle George.
"Hey Rosie, Al, Scorp, Alice, and your other friends. Who might you two be?" My uncle greeted us, asking about Taylor and Harlee.
"This is Taylor and Harlee, the two other girls in Alice and my's dorm."
"Awesome! Nice to meet you both and good to see the rest of you. Got to get back to work. I'll see you guys at Christmas!"
"Bye!" We all chorused.
We walked through the shop not really intending on buying anything. We left not too long later and walked towards the Shrieking Shack.
"I've heard it's the most haunted building in Britain." Scorp said. Al and I laughed.
"What are you two laughing at?" Alice asked innocently.
"Oh, we'll tell you later," I responded, still giggling. Al and I had both been told all the stories about what really went on in the Shrieking Shack since our parents had been there.

Suddenly, out of nowhere a snowball hit the back of Al's head.
"Oi! Who did that?" Al barked.
"No idea..."
Then another one hit Scorp, then me. I knew who it was now!
"James Sirius Potter! Take that blasted cloak off and show yourself!" I screeched. I knew that James had his dad's invisibility cloak so he was the one throwing the snowballs. He whipped the cloak off and threw another snowball. I had one ready and threw it right back at him. We were now in a full-fledged war!

After about an hour of snowball throwing/dodging, we decided to walk back up to the castle since it was getting late and we were all soaked. We bid our goodbyes in the entrance hall and went straight to bed not saying a word to each other since we were all exhausted.
