A True Love Story: Scorpius and Rose [ON HOLD]

Second Year

Rose

I hopped onto the Hogwarts Express ready to start my second year at Hogwarts. I found an empty compartment and then was soon joined by Albus and Scorpius.
"Hey guys, how was your summer?" I asked.
"Pretty great. Scorp stayed with us the whole time which was awesome!" Albus replied.
"Mine was amazing actually. My family usually just sits around doing separate things during the holidays whereas at the Potter's we did stuff together!" Scorpius answered happily.
We talked about our summers and school until we arrived at Hogwarts. We climbed into a carriage and Alice joined us not too long later. We were silent the whole ride to Hogwarts taking in the sight even after being here for a year it was still astonishing.

After the sorting, we had a great feast and then went to our dorms to sleep. I got to my dorm and changed into my pajamas and went straight to sleep. I was quite tired after the long day of traveling and I wanted to be ready for the first day of school.

*2 weeks later*

The classes had been quite simple for the first two weeks of school. It was finally time for Quidditch tryouts! I was beyond excited! It was the Saturday of the tryouts and I was only half eating my breakfast.
"Come on Rose, eat up! It's just tryouts, not a game or something!" Alice scolded.
"I'm just really nervous that all," I responded.
"I know, just eat please." Alice pleaded. I conceded and ate a piece of toast before it was time for tryouts. I ran down to the Quidditch pitch after grabbing my broom.
"Alright all of you," the Quidditch captain, Marcus Wood, who was the son of Oliver Wood and Katie Bell, said. "This will be an easy tryout just to show us your skills. Let's go!"
I got on my broom and kicked off. I was trying out for the position of Keeper like my dad, James was trying out for Seeker, Louis was trying out for Chaser, and Fred II was trying out for Beater.

After the tryout, I took a shower and than practically fell onto my bed since Marcus Wood had worked us so hard.

I woke up the next morning and walked down to the common room to see a crowd of Gryffindors crowded around the notice board. I pushed my way through the crowd to see what they were all looking at. The Quidditch team had been posted.
Seeker: James Potter
Keeper: Rose Weasley
Chasers: Louis Weasley, Marcus Wood, and McKenna Smith (a seventh year girl I didn't know)
Beaters: Fred Weasley and Adam Torrent (a seventh year boy I didn't know)
I was overly excited I had made the team!! It wasn't very common for second years to make the team right away. I ran back into my dormitory to tell the other girls, (especially Alice), that I had made the team!

*on Halloween*

Scorpius

It was the morning of Halloween and Al and I were heading to study in the library. Little did we know that Rose was there to join us.

We sat down at a table in the library and were soon met by a girl with flaming red hair. She sat down next to us wanting to help us and us to help her much to my dislike. After studying we went to walk towards the Great Hall for lunch when suddenly James came running up to us and told us that he wanted us to meet him on the Astronomy Tower had midnight tonight.
"But that's after curfew," Rose complained.
"I know," James replied, "just meet me there."
"Fine," Rose finally conceded.

*at midnight*

Albus and I went to meet Rose outside of the Astronomy Tower. We walked in to find cups of water all over the ground so if you stepped into the room you would knock over all of them. Rose stumbled and almost fell into the tower. Luckily, Albus and I pulled her back before she fell over.
"He pranked us," Albus said madly.
"Course he did, he's James," Rose responded.
We all started to walk back to our dorms when we saw him.
"Students out of bed. Students out of bed!" Filch, the caretaker, yelled.
He grabbed us all by our hair and took us to Professor McGonagall's office.
"Well, hello Filch, what brings you to my office so late?" Professor McGonagall stated.
"I have 3 students that were found out of bed near the Astronomy tower."
"Thank you Filch. I will deal with these students. You may leave."
"What do you think you are doing out of bed? It's past curfew! 10 points from each of your houses and I will see all of you in detention on Monday. Now back to your dormitories." We all groaned and headed back to our dorms not saying anything.

*in detention on Monday*

Rose

"You will have your detention with Hagrid in the forbidden forest." Professor McGonagall said calmly.
"The Forbidden Forest! But it's...it's...forbidden!" I choked.
"What a good observation, Weasley," Scorpius muttered.
"Quiet Mr. Malfoy!"

We headed down to Hagrid's dreading what we were going to have to do.
"Well, hello you 3!" Hagrid boomed. "I think I see the new Golden Trio!"
We groaned.
"What are we going to be doing in the Forbidden Forest Hagrid?" Albus asked.
"We are going to be feeding my spiders!" Hagrid said happily.
I gulped. I was deathly afraid of spiders just like my dad. We walked into the forest minutes later with lanterns and spider food. We were all silent as we walked towards the spider hollow.
"Hello Hagrid!" A spider voiced when we got to the hollow.
"Well hello Arachnida."
We gave the spiders their food and started to walk out. Hagrid went running after his dog Fiona after she ran back to his hut. Leaving Al, Scorpius, and I standing in the spiders hollow.
"I smell unknown humans, which means more dinner!"
We all gulped and started to back away.
"Aaaaah!" I screamed after a spider grabbed my robe with its talons.
