The fight

Chapter Four

   We snuck into the dining room searching for a place to hide while the intruder holding Robin whispered to the others "we have to find Raven soon, before the King starts to protect her even more." he then glanced back at Robin "hello beautiful, mind telling us where your pretty little friend is?" She struggled and squirmed trying to break free from his hand, but considering she was a servant girl and he probably had years of training for this moment, you guessed it, she failed and that caused her to get slapped in the face by the brute. "Tell me where she is, we don't need anything harder. Alright love?" his voice sickened me by how he thought he could charm her into spilling. I have to admit, he was pretty good looking but Robin was strong and brave. She grasped his arm and dug her nails into it causing him to soften his grip and then she kneed him where the sun don't shine. he doubled over in pain but quickly got up with a furious look plastered on his face, "alright now tell us or we will have to MAKE you." she looked around but quickly got cornered by two of the men as soon as she saw me. luckily they didn't know what her eyes landed on and I let out a mental sigh of relief. Klyde suddenly looked at me mouthing 'ready to give them what they deserve?' and I replied with a simple smirk and nod, basically saying 'bring it on'. We slowly got up and snuck behind the man who had the bow and was watching the door, he was aimed at the hallway ready to strike if guards came. not quite ready for someone to do a sneak attack though, Klyde quickly put him in a headlock and cut off his breathing for a moment to knock him out silently. I walked over towards the two intruders in the corner and kicked one while Klyde elbowed. sending both to fall down unconscious. the 'leader' was in the attached study to this room rummaging for papers. I held Robin as she began to catch her breathe again, I didn't even have time to notice Klyde walking towards the study with sword in hand posed for battle. I tried running towards him but he whispered "Raven Robin needs you and what is a king without knowing how to fight?" he slightly smirked and threw his head around the corner watching the intruder. after about seven minutes of the two fighting but never hitting each other the intruder stabbed Klyde in the stomach. which made me squeak from fear at the thought of Klyde becoming injured. suddenly the intruding looked up at me in the door frame, covering my mouth staring at Klyde with tears forming, I glanced at the intruder as I backed away and he stood up walking towards me. I kept walking back till I hit a hard object behind me, I slowly turned around to see three smirking men holding a blindfold and having Robin in the corner crying, not being able to do much. I slowly back away again until I was trapped in between four dangerous men, I prayed that I wouldn't be hurt and then surrendered my hands, pushing them in front of my tearing face, glancing back at the injured Klyde, bleeding in the study. my thoughts were interrupted my a satisfied tone from the 'leader' "I see you are more cooperative than your friend over there," pointing to Robin I saw the small frown making on to her face mouthing 'I am sorry' I slightly smiled and replied 'Its ok I will be fine' "Don't worry Raven we don't want her so she will be fine, neither do we want your precious 'king' couldn't even fight, Ha!" I felt anger boiling inside, no way was he going to insult the King like that! "well I am sorry that he is the king and your not, he fights with honor. he isn't as devilish as you!" I snapped noticing his smirk rising again "oh contraire little Raven, you have much to learn about me. and you'll be spending a lot of time with me. oh and that's no way to treat royalty" I was shocked, he was royal? where did he come from to be so rude and arrogant? my mind wandering towards Klyde again and so did my eyes to see him sad and frowning towards me, I mouthed towards him 'when i'm gone go find a doctor, you know me and my awesome stubbornness' I smiled towards him and he replied with a sweet little smile that held sadness and happiness. "come on pretty we cant be here all day" and before I knew it I was unconscious and in his arms while he snuck out of the palace.
