[Brooke's POV]

I woke up, my eyes still adjusting to the darkness. I looked ahead, and saw Terry's soft brown eyes sparkling with fear. I rubbed my eyes, listening as he spoke. "We need to move. Abigail is outside and she's trying to get in...We have to get you, Addie and Jason away from here." He whispered, his calming English accent was now wavering with terror. I nodded sleepily, taking his hand and standing up. I was still delirious and tired, so I clung to Terry's arm. "Can you carry me on your back? I'm pretty tired..."
"Sure thing. Hurry though." He knelt down a bit and I crawled onto his back, lazily draping my arms around his neck. "We're good to go. We'll make a diversion so you three can escape." Viola huffed, holding the doorknob and shakily reaching for the lock. "Terry..." she said, looking back at us for a moment. "Don't let her get hurt." She whispered. And I could hear how badly she wanted to cry. Terry nodded, tightening his grip on me. Viola nodded, opening the lock and slowly opening the door.

There she was, knife in hand. Viola charged her and with all of her strength pushed her against the wall. This was our signal to go, to fucking bolt. Terry was out first, running full speed out of the room and down the hall. Addie and Jason came right behind us. Our loud footsteps echoed the spacey hallways, and I heard Abigail's hellish growls behind us. I know everyone says, never look back, but I was so scared she would be right behind me, I wanted to know. I turned my head, and locked eyes with Abigail. She was right behind our little group. She must have teleported and caught up to us.
"T-Terry please run faster!" I begged, clinging to his sweatshirt. We sped up a little, and I turned my head again, burying it into his shoulder.

I was snapped out of my fear when a loud thud echoed the hallway, and Terry froze. Shivers shot down my spine, and we realized Abigail wasn't growling anymore. She was laughing, and someone was screaming.
Terry turned around, and we saw her. Straddling Jason and using her strength to keep him pinned. I realized why Terry couldn't run now. Abigail had frozen us in place. I couldn't tear my eyes away, no matter how hard I tried. My heart raced, and my breathing picked up.

"T-TERRY!" Jason reached out, clawing at the ground and looking back at us. Addie was in front of us, her hands clenching into fists as she tried her damnedest to move. Where was Viola? Where was everyone else?! Abigail leaned down and placed a finger gently on Jason's lips. "...shh..." she whispered. "..Close your eyes." Her voice started to get louder. "This will be more fun, if you just relax."
"Y-You're CRAZY!" He begged, thrashing under her and screaming at the top of his lungs, for someone, anyone. To help him. Abigail's face was sick and twisted, her smile growing far beyond what a normal human should look like. I was scared, and we all knew there was no was Jason was going to make it unless some sort of miracle occurred.

We all watched in dismay, as Abigail revealed her weapon of choice. A simple kitchen knife. Jason's eyes blew wide, and he wiggled and slammed his body against the ground just trying to get out from under her. He stopped when the knife was hovering right above his face. I forced my eyes to try and shut. But they wouldn't listen. His cheek split open like butter, blood trickling down his light skin. His scream was loud, and rang through my ears. Abigail then licked the knife. Her eyes widened as she discovered how much she enjoyed Jason's blood. She forced the tip of the knife deeper into his cut, making him cry out and beg for mercy. She stopped.

The knife found its way to his neck, and Abigail wasted no time in making a bloody mess of it. Over and over again, I heard the sound of skin breaking and blood spitting all over Abigail's face. Mixed with Jason's shrieks of agony. I watched as she practically gutted him, ripping his shirt open and making Jason look more like a slaughtered pig. I wanted to puke, the sight of so much blood...my friend dying on the floor in front of me, and we couldn't do jack shit about it. Abigail was so focused on ripping Jason's throat apart, and tearing his organs out, that her spell began to weaken. Terry and Addie found their strength.
I expected them to run towards her, push her off and tend to Jason best they could. I wanted to jump off and run to him too. But..they didn't. Terry turned around and bolted, and the scream I heard Jason make as we ran off broke my heart.
