His birthday is tomorrow and tonight he and I are going out to dinner for our date. Daniel and Aubrey know and they're not harassing us, so that's nice.

We're both dressed to go, and my phone starts ringing.

I look down at the I.D.

Madeline.

I sigh quietly. It's my oldest sister.

I press answer.

"Hey."

"I'm getting married."

"What?" I ask.

"I met him the day after you left, and well, I really love him, and we're getting married in two weeks!"

"Oh my god." I say. "Madeline!"

"I know, I know, but our entire family is flipping shit. So much has changed. All of us have boyfriends now, except for you, of course, and Katie, Melanie, and Rose."

"I mean...Maddie, you've known him four months. Do you really think you're ready to marry him?"

"Yeah, I think I am. Erin, can you fly out here? Try and bring a date for the wedding. Please?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'll come out. I'll call you with flight details."

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you too."

We get off the phone.

"Who was that?" Christian asks.

I sigh. "My sister."

"Which one?" he laughs.

"The oldest, Madeline. She's getting married to a guy she's know for less time than I've known you."

He frowns.

"That seems...rushed."

"Yeah. Now I have to fly out there."

"Wow."

"Yeah."

We got food from Applebees and now he's driving us somewhere.

"So," I clear my throat. He glances at me. "My sister wants me to bring somebody of the male nature, to her wedding. You know, a date."

"Are you asking me to go to Michigan with you?"

"Well...I mean, yeah."

"Okay." He says. "I'll go with you."

We park at a bookstore.

I look at him, confused.

He smiles and gets out. I get out too, and he shuts my door.

"You're supposed to let me open the door for you." He frowns, rushing forward to open the door to the bookstore.

I shrug, walking in. He walks in too.

"Alright, you pick out a book and pick out a book, I get the books, and the one I pick out is yours an the one you pick out is mine, and then next date we get to tell each other about our books."

"Okay." I smile.

So we separate and we both pick out books, and he buys them, and I give him mine, and he gives me his, and then we start driving again.

He's incredible.

My phone starts ringing again, and this time, it's Mom.

"Hey." I say.
