Danielle sat across Madam Paulette. On her left, Beth was seating with legs crossed and on her right, Craig and Jeremy sat uncomfortably near a rack where a lot of bottles full of colorful potions were located. They all sat down in front of a round table covered with colorful, yet dull, table cloth. It looked like it hadn't been washed for years. On top of it, a glass ball was seating comfortably. The size wasn't large, but it was enough to cover half of Madam Paulette's face from Danielle's sight. No one could see the inside of the glass ball because it looked like it was filled with smoke and fog.
Suddenly, Madam Paulette hit the table really hard, startling all four of her guests and creating horror inside Beth's mind.
"Danielle Morrison, I have been waiting for you." She said. As she said it, someone closed the lid of the tent. It was dark, and the only source of light was from the glass ball.
"But why? I'm not the one whose fortune want to be read." Danielle muttered.
"Your life is about to change." Madam Paulette said, completely ignoring Danielle. Her voice was changed, too. She sounded like a robot, but with this creepy atmosphere, she sounded more like someone who came from the future.
"What?" Beth muttered. She frowned, not liking what she heard.
"Someone will come and take you away from the life you know." Madam Paulette continued. "You will encounter a new world, away from where you are living. There will be several challenges and obstacles you need to experience. But that's fine. You will find yourself through the journey, and you will find your true significant other through it, once you have found yourself. You will find a way to make this universe a better world to live in.
"But beware, danger is lurking beneath the darkness and enemies are finding their way to stop you from your fate. Do not stop, whatever happens." And once she finished her sentence, she collapsed from her chair. Danielle gasped as she jumped off of her chair as if she was being thrown away from a catapult. The two boys immediately helped Madam Paulette to stand up.
"My goodness!" Madam Paulette suddenly said once she could sit straight on her chair. She fixed her hair cover and shook her head. "I bet I was too intense!" she said again, this time laughing, but the warmness didn't reach her eyes.
It was silent in the entire room and someone suddenly opened the tent, allowing more light inside. Madam Paulette took a deep breath and looked at each one of them closely. Her eyes met Danielle's and she immediately threw her sight to the glass ball in front of her.
"Who was I talking to when I got a vision?" Madam Paulette asked as she tapped her glass ball with the end of her long nails.
"Me." Danielle muttered.
"You?" Madam Paulette looked at Danielle in disbelief. She shook her head once again and looked at her glass ball.
"Alright, who wants to know their fortune?"

Beth walked out of the tent silently. Jeremy and Craig followed her, but Danielle felt the need to stay longer. She sighed and knew that it was a bad idea, so she walked away. Beth waited for Danielle and walked beside her.
"Do you have any idea what she's talking about when 'she had a vision'?" Beth asked as she mimicked Madam Paulette.
Danielle smirked. "She must be talking about college."
"I don't think so." Craig butted in. "I mean, it's just college. It's not like -"
"She must be talking about college." Danielle repeated herself, more like assuring herself that nothing would happen. "I mean, it's so obvious, though. New world means college, away from where I'm living, obviously, I'm going to UCLA. Danger might mean bad grade?" Danielle shrugged. "And enemies are, well, enemies. You can make enemies wherever you go."
