"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Danielle asked once she found her courage. She looked at the man with caution.
"My name is Lukas Evans, and in about ten minutes, a few people will come here, right into this room to take that mirror that you have been using." The man explained as he sat down facing Danielle. Danielle frowned and she brought the mirror closer to her.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
The man sighed out loud. "It might be hard to swallow, but please just understand this, okay? Just, listen to me."
Danielle nodded and the man looked at her. Danielle decided to shut up. At this very moment, this stranger might be the only person that could help her. If he decided to do something bad to her, she knew a few self-defense moves.
"You're not in the world you think you are. This is the world inside the mirrors and that specific mirror that you're holding helped you go to this world," the man leaned back. "This is the world where imagination and facts live as one, where science and magic work together. It might seem impossible and untrue to you, but I can assure you that this is as real as the cherry tree in front of your house ten years ago.
"In the first few years of the 1800s, a scientist did the impossible. He was a philosopher and he used magic altogether with science to create a world inside a mirror. After hundreds of failure, he almost gave up, just like every normal people would do. He came up with a new formula a few years after and worked on it again. How exactly he managed to succeed was absolutely unknown until this very moment.
"It was like writing a story to him. He made the plot and everything. He modified the history, made sure that the world goes the way he wanted it to be, and he was practically a god for being able to create a whole new form of life completely. Who you are in this world is exactly the same with who you are in the other world. It's just like having a twin. Both worlds are exactly the same, except that one world is better than the other."
"My world." Danielle whispered.
"No." The man scoffed and shook his head. "My world."

It only took fifteen minutes to evacuate all of the ferris wheel passengers. Beth was crying and Jeremy was trying to calm her down. Craig walked over Beth and Jeremy with confused look. He wasn't looking for Danielle, he was only seeking for comfort and safety. It was obvious that he already forgot that he came with her.
"Where's Danielle?" Beth asked. She was still sobbing but she was calmer.
"Danielle?" Craig frowned, and he gasped. "Oh my God. Where is she?!"
"You fool!" Beth was now full of anger.
But before anyone was hurt, someone suddenly ran over to Beth and hugged her really tight. Beth could hear that the person was crying and she suddenly realized that it was Danielle. Beth was a little bit confused since she knew that Danielle was a total egg shell, but she hugged her best friend really tight to comfort her.
"Oh my God, it felt like I was heading toward death! But I'm so glad that we're all here, safe and sound." Danielle said. She let go of the hug and stood up straight as she fixed her cap.
"You weren't wearing cap this afternoon." Craig suddenly said.
"Oh, um," Danielle frowned, obviously wasn't prepared for this kind of question. Snap! "I found it on my carriage. I was thinking to give it to Mr. Dante to put it in Lost and Found Box." Craig only shrugged but Danielle smiled, knowing that her lie was swallowed.
