Alannah Rogio felt fear vacate her body as hopelessness occupied her once hopeful heart. The girl's lifeless body drenched wet by rain pouring in through her open windows. The harsh drops hitting her body so painfully she only wished death to come and let her rest, maybe in peace.

In all her 22 years she had endured was pain and nothing but pain. With a cynical smirk plastered on her gaunt face she gave out a painful cough as her ribs hurt from the harsh kicks she'd just stomached from Massimo. Her own father had done this to her. Beating her to near death without even flinching. She'd always known him to be a beast, crueler than any man alive but this, this was the the worst scenario from all she had attained from him. Alannah knew from an early age that there was no one to depend on,to value or trust in life she just don't know why she had undermined her father's cruel capabilities when it came to her only child, the disappointment from her whore wife who gave birth to a weakling and ran away with another man when Alannah was just a month old.

Massimo Rogio had always wanted a boy, the man was never the type of man to hide his disappointments and Alannah was his biggest. From the begging he had always made sure to remind her of that every single day.

She knew her life story.

Born into riches, spoilt as many thought, went to the best schools world but still weak.

Scrawny she had been called.

Spoilt and self-centered. People's interpretations and cruel whispers always hurt more every single time whenever she went out, her cruel father known by all making it even more difficult to make friend as many knew Massimo's cruel heart and deadly deeds. And with that current knowledge people stayed away from her, ignored her and treated her as if she didn't exist. After years of trying on her sixteenth birthday she gave up. Alannah realised that destined to be weak and alone.

Mentally she had died but physically she lived and was far from death. Thoughts of suicide called gather, the reality that she had only died mentally not physically settling in. But the girl couldn't take her own life. She didn't have the guts to make her father happy..

Dragging her aching body up from the hard floor she sat up straight. Truth was that the only thing she could do was to honour her father's authority to marry.

 A stranger at that.

The anger building within Rafael Kann felt heavy and hot.

His hands burning to hit something so very hard that if Massimo Rogio didn't get out and give him his space surely the outcomes wouldn't be at favour with him. Closing his eyes from disbelief and rage Rafael couldn't help but gather his senses and be on his best conduct if he was to deal with the creature threatening his life success.

He had played by his rules and had agreed to marry his scrawny daughter surely that had to be enough but no, the man had to push his temper further off to boiling and that wasn't how he worked.

"Are you listening to me son?" Massimo's mocking tone commanded more than asked. His look one of belittlement.
"Let me get this clear!" Rafael's head shaking as he spoke. " you want me to give you 10% of my company is that it?"
Smiling cunningly Massimo held the whisky glass to his lips and downed the
remaining liquor. "Now we are clear" he answered. "with that I will be leaving you to get ready son, people are waiting for you. After all this is your special day isn't it?"

The man's attitude forced Rafael's anger out. " You bastard!"

"forcing me to marry your daughter! now this?... threatening to bring my company down." Rafael could believe his ears. He took a step towards Massimo but the man's laughter stopped him. He was clearly mocking him.

"I have agreed to what you want, now you want to take it? What was the use for me agreeing to marry your shity daughter then?" His fisted hand raked through his hair in anger as he spoke.

"That was for you to keep it don't worry this is to in sure that you keep your end of
the bargain when am satisfied I will give you back the shares."  Massimo spoke, but it was clear he didn't mean his words.
"You expect me to trust you? that isn't going to work. If you want part of my
company the deal is off. You might as well tell her to take off the wedding dress
now!"
"Son am not asking you am telling you and that's it. If you don't agree say goodbye
to your geeky company for good." And with that Massimo poured himself another glass of whisky and sat down on the couch comfortably, his short legs crossed.

"Fuck you!"
