Slowly Alaanah walked behind Rafael her heart beating uncontrollably with every steps they took, urging closer to the swing double doors. She didn't think walking beside Rafael was a good idea so she stayed behind. He clearly looked annoyed with her.
'Hurry up'
Rafael's voice startled her and she did as he asked noticing how she's almost his height even with heels on. His tallness gave her some sense of assurance since he's the first man she never towered with heels on.

Rafael stopped on his feet as they reached the reception and turned to her his face emotionless.
' in here you act as a wife should so physical contact and smiles from you to me are required. Oh one thing I make the moves first and please don't blur stupid things out.'
'Okay.'
' and that's what am fucking talking about. Say intelligent responses other than okay. Damn woman!'

Why did he have to always crush her? Why. Slowly suppressing the hurt she forced her eyes to the floor . many people were passing them by and all of them greeted Rafaela.
She could tell that people were staring at her and that didn't help her anxiety at all. She kept forcing her head up and staring blankly avoiding eye contact till they reached the not for employees elevator and waited for it to open and hopped in along side Rafael letting out a breath of relief when no one was inside.
' I see you're already popular, my employees can't seem to not stare at you'

'I don't know why' she responded shyly

'Can you just respond like a normal human being for once in your life!'
Before she could respond the elevator stopped and a sexy woman dressed in a royal business suit and a man in his late fifties walked in. Alaanah thanked god for the disturb and almost sighed in relief only to feel a tap on her shoulder. Turning to she fake smiled as she saw that it was just the beautiful lady in blue.
' well you do know that this is a private elevator right?' The lady meanly told her than asked and Alaanah couldn't help but shrink.
What was she supposed to say to this?
' I didn't know but I am her...'
'Well I suggest you take the stairs back down when this stops we don't tolerate am skinny perfect sluts like you here' and with those words Alaanah couldn't help but turn and stare at Rafael whose face seemed burning with fury. To whom it was directed Alaanah only hoped it wasn't her.
'Linda I suggest you tell me how my wife is a slut and I didn't know.'

Rafael's fists begged him to teach the bleached blond insulting Alaanah a lesson. Yes he didn't like her but no one disrespects what's his. No one.
' sir I didn't know. I real...'
Before she could finish Rafael cut her
' cut it. I could fire you right here right now. Next remember that'

The room stayed silent for moments and Alaanah couldn't help but feel sorry for the lady. She didn't know. It was clear to see yet Rafael being Rafael didn't think it proper to introduce her other than loosing his temper.
'Am sorry ma'am am really sorry I didn't know.'
The pure words shook her from her thoughts and she couldn't help but smile at the scared lady.
' its okay I understand' and with that the lady smiled in relief.
The elevator stopped, the doors opened and Alaanah hoped she didn't faint. She just wished for courage and bravery to help her pass through creatures that have been tormenting her life. People.

The few crowd of important formal dressed people turned their way and two gentlemen passed by them and Alaanah shrunk when their piercing stares raked her and their low whispers asked who she was.
It was really sad that she was the towns yet no one seemed to know her.
How could that be.
Rafael was greeted by his personal assistant Mary, a petite but curvy brunet,
who knew better than to flirt with him. It was a busy morning and people were
moving around getting ready for new changes but that fail them to notice that he came in with a
guest and he loathed that. He wasn't ready to explain his personal life to anyone.
