 Chapter 5 – edited by ASHLEY_B3

I was still blushing when we got back to our room that night. Again he kissed me on the cheek and whispered. “We’ll practice our kiss again tomorrow.” He smiled and raised his eyebrows naughtily at me before going to his room. I rolled my eyes at him and he laughed.

“Wow.” Gina chirped excitedly. “I feel like he just used practice as a reason for him to kiss you again.” She laughed when she saw me blushing. ”By the way, tell me how it feels to be kissed by him?”

I shyly told her. “Well surprisingly, it does feel good, but I’ve never kissed anyone before, Gina. I don’t know how I'm supposed to respond.” I could feel my face turning dark red when Gina giggled.

“Well, don’t worry, I’ll teach you. Let me tell you what you should do when he kisses you again. I’m very sure, if you do that, he would never want to stop kissing you.” she laughed, and started explaining to me.

My eyes nearly popped out and my jaw was dropping to the ground when I heard her explanations. I even made a yucky face at her during some parts of her demonstration. Yes, she even demonstrated. How? By kissing my hand of course and let me feel her tongue. What were you guys thinking? She kissed me? Oh no, ewww. She managed to convince me to try it myself and after much practiced she was finally satisfied. We both couldn't wait to see Carl's reaction when he sees my response to his kiss just the way Gina had taught me.

We continued our journey early the next morning so that we could catch the 3:00 o'clock boat. Ben took over driving while Carl sat at the back saying that he couldn’t sleep last night. The girls were teasing him saying maybe he was thinking about kissing me again was why he was unable to sleep. Carl just smirked at them but winked at me.

We arrived at the port just in time for the 3.00 pm boat. The guys got into the boat first to load our bags and then helped us girls getting inside. Carl held my hand, and led me to our seat. Yeah, he sat beside me. Very, very close to me and not only that, he put his arms around my waist. Oh my, I could feel my heart was doing somersaults throughout the ride. I kept reminding myself to calm down and that this is just pretend. Vicky is his dream girl, remember that. You are to help him with his mission to make her jealous, I told myself. He only has eyes for Vicky.

Yes, Vicky aka Victoria is a beautiful girl with long Burgundy hair, with beautiful hazel eyes, a full round face with a petite nose and small ears. She and I had known each other since we were in pre-school. We were good friends and grew up to be tomboys in our primary days. She would called me Kier and while I called her Vic, which were boys names. Our moms would scold us when they heard us called each other those names, but as time went by she had grown into a beautiful girl. Every guy would definitely fall in love with her charming and sweet beautiful voice, and as you know that includes Carl. When we were in high school, she would have her own popular group of friends, while I'd have my own, like Carl, Jack, Ben, and Jason. Her popular group of friends would be Cheerleaders and football players while mine would be other sports other than football players. I don’t know why, but our group would never get along with the football players. Maybe because they always thought that they were high and mighty and every girl in school would swamp around them like crazy, especially the football captain.

Even though Vicky and I have a separate group of friends, we still acknowledged each other and remained good friends. She would still sometimes spend time helping us in my mom’s bookstore. She still treated me the same but I could never get along with her group of friends. They would stare at me and looked at me as if I was a weirdo or something. Sometimes they would purposely make jokes and laugh at me. That’s why whenever she was surrounded by her friends I would stay away from her. Vicky realized that and never forced me to get along with her friends. However, Vicky and I had grown further apart when we both went to a different college. She went to USC while I went to PrincetonUniversity. We would only see each other if she came back home during the break which she seldom did. I would always go back home during the break because I love to help my mom in her bookstore, except for this summer of course.
