Chapter 9
“Kierra, you’re wearing that shirt again?” asked Carl when he saw me wearing the same shirt while I was coming down the stairs. We had decided to go the beach after having breakfast. The rest of the guys were still sleeping.
To tell you the truth, Carl had not seen me in my bikini. After Vicky left yesterday, I suddenly had a stomach ache and by the time I had finished my business it was already dark so I didn’t get to swim yesterday.
“Of course I am.” I simply told him. “I’ll take it off at the beach.”
“Well, don’t worry, I’ll help you to take it off,’ he laughed.
“Yeah, do that and I’ll make sure your face will be smashed to pieces,” I smirked. He laughed and we walked together hand in hand to the beach.
When we reached there, Carl suddenly lifted me up in bridal style and carried me to the shore.
“Carl, what are you doing?” I screamed. “Put me down.”
“Ok,” he chuckled and threw me into the sea making me fully soaked from head to feet.
“Carl,” I pushed him, “You made me all wet.”
“That’s the idea,” he laughed, “Now you have no choice but to take off that lousy shirt.”
I glared at him, “I’m not taking it off. “ I told him stubbornly, “I’m keeping it on.”
“Oh yeah? Let me do it for you then” he said pulling me nearer to him and tried to unbutton the shirt.
I pushed his hand away, ‘Take your hands off, you crazy maniac.”
“Am I really?” he laughed and pulled me closer again but this time he crushed his lips on mine and sought a full kiss. I moaned and kissed him back exploring his mouth with my tongue as he did to me. I could hear we both moaned. He pulled me nearer to him and when I felt his hard bulge underneath his shorts, I shrieked and quickly pulled away.
“Kierra, what’s wrong?” he worriedly asked.
“Nothing,” I shyly responded not looking at him.
He came closer and wrapped his arm around me, “I’m sorry if I scared you,” he said. “But look what I managed to do?” giving me a victory smile while showing my shirt in his hand.
“What?” I yelp, “Carl, give me back my shirt.”
“No,” he lifted it out of my reach, “I’m going to throw it away.”
“Carl,” I said angrily at him. “I love that shirt.”
He laughed and then looked at me intensely without blinking his eyes. I oddly looked at him and waved my hand in front of him. “Carl, you ok?” I worriedly asked him.
He blinked and returning back my shirt before softly said, “I think you better put the shirt back on.”
“Why?” I sadly asked, “Do I look that ugly?”
“No, definitely not,” he shook his head. “I’m just afraid I might turn back into a crazy jealous boyfriend when some other guys drool at you.”
I gave him a naughty smile, “If that’s the case, be my guest and throw the shirt away,” I pulled the shirt from his hand intending to throw it away.
“Oh no, you naughty girl,” he grabbed my shirt back and tried to put the wet shirt back on me. I pushed it away and started running away from him. Giving me a chase he called out, “Come back here, you cheeky little girl,” as usual he was faster than me and managed to catch me. We both kept laughing hard when I kept pushing his hand and he tried to put on the shirt on me.
“Hey, love birds,” we looked up and saw Jack and Gina holding hands and smiling at us.
They both walked over to us, “Didn’t you two break off last night?” he teased. I think they heard me screaming at Carl last night.
“Yeah, we did,” I simply told him.
“But, I managed to lure her into coming back to me,” Card proudly told him and giving me a naughty look.
“Luring me, huh my foot.” I smirked. “He cried his heart out begging me to take him back.” I even demonstrated to them how he looked while begging to me.
“Hey, I didn’t do that,” he yelled and tickled me. “You’re exaggerating, naughty girl.”
I laughed and pushed his hand, “Yes you did. You even wept, hu..hu..hu..,” I added on laughing loudly and start running again when Carl gave me a warning look.
Suddenly I bumped into someone chest, “Sorry.” I apologised and when I looked up it was Alex. He had his hand securely wrapped behind me to avoid both of us falling down. He was with Brad and Lee.
“Hey, nice to be bumped into you,” he chuckled letting me go.
“Yeah, me too,” I giggled. “Sorry, I didn’t see where I was going.”
“Not a problem at all. I love being bumped into you anytime,” he teased raising his eyebrows naughtily at me. I just laughed at his flirting.
“Hey,” suddenly Carl was at my side and put his hand on my back. I looked at him while he was looking at Alex with a serious face. “Hey Alex,” he acknowledged.
“Hey,” Alex responded and smiled at Carl. Carl finally returned his smile. I turned to look at both Brad and Lee who were standing a distance away holding a ball.
“Hey, are you playing beach soccer?” I walked over to Brad.
“Yeah, want to join us?” he invites.
“Yeah, love to,” I said eagerly. “Carl, want to join them?” I turned to look at Carl and smiled.
“Sure, if they don’t mind,” he shrugged.
“Sure, no problem but we need another person to make a team,” injected Lee.
“No, problem,” I said. “We can ask Jack to join us,” I suggested.
“Yeah, call him then,” said Alex.
Well, Carl, Jack and I were in one team and we managed to beat Alex and his team. Carl managed to keep his cool but whenever I was in contact with Alex, I could see him frown. Ben and Jason had joined us playing beach soccer and soon after we were all exhausted. Carl and I sat on the same beach chair, while Alex sat next to ours.
“Wow, for a girl you’re really good,” said Alex laughing.
Carl put his hand on my shoulder, “She good in every game, you just name it,” he said looking proudly at me while I just grinned stupidly.
“Really? Wow I’m impressed,” smiled Alex. “Next time you be on my team, ok?” he laughed again.
“Sure, no problem,” I laughed nodding my head.
“Uh, uh, No way, not a chance,” chuckled Carl shaking his head. “I’m not giving you up,” pulling me nearer to him.
