Day 5: Strawberry Cake

Today was a seemingly ordinary day, except for the fact that Erza Scarlet was baking. Yes, Titania was baking. Why? Well, here's what happened.

Erza was moping on the streets. Her favorite bakery was out of cake. When she got to her home, well Jellal and her home, she spotted a big strawberry cake. She couldn't help herself and dug into the cake. A few hours later Jellal came back and saw that the cake was gone. He knew exactly who the culprit was. "Erza?" He asked. She looked at him  and answered,"Yes,". "Did you eat the strawberry cake?",he asked. She nodded confused. He sighed and rubbed his temples. "Erza, that was for Meredy's surprise birthday party, now I have to get another one," he said. Erza looked horrified. She ate her friend's strawberry cake. A precious strawberry cake, Erza of all people knew how amazing and essential they are. To make matters worse she ate it on her birthday. "Ill make it," she exclaimed. Jellal looked bewildered. "Erza, you don't have to, it-" he started saying but Erza cut him off. "I will make it to make up for my eating it. My mistakes shouldn't cause you grief. Don't worry I'm an expert on strawberry cake after all. It shouldn't be that bad," she said and got up, kissed his cheek and went to the kitchen.
"Ughhh!! Why is this so hard!!" She screamed in frustration for making a bad cake. What she didn't know was that Jellal lied. The cake was meant for Erza but, for a surprise he set up for her. It wouldn't be complete without it. She sort of ruined it when she ate it. He was going to bake it but, she insisted, and when Titania insists on something she'll do it. He was watching her amused at her efforts. She knew exactly which strawberry cake to pick but, she couldn't bake one to save her life. "Here let me help," he said and walked in. "No Jellal I sai-" she said but, he cut her off. "It's partially my fault for not telling you that the cake was meant for Meredy. Besides you look like you need help," he said and smiled after pointing to her brown batter. She blushed and looked the other way. After they dumped out her batter, which was pretty good for chocolate cake, but not strawberry. They baked for the next hour until they realized if they didn't leave now, they'd be late. "Oh no! What're we going to do!" Erza said creaking out. "Erza, it's fine I'll take the cake since I'm ready, and you can clean up then meet us there okay?" He asked. She nodded. "Alright, the place is Adonas Field," he said and rushed out the door. Erza was slightly puzzled. Why would her birthday party be at Adonas Field? Unless Jellal suggested it. She assumed it was the case, shrugged her shoulders and got ready, which didn't take long. Just a shower and a quick requip. She went over and saw everything was off. No one and nothing was there. She went in and suddenly everything flashed brightly. She turned around and saw Jellal on his knees with a ring. As she looked down, fireworks erupted around her. Suddenly, foam formed and it spelled out,
"You've made me a better person and never stopped fighting even when I'd given up. Today, was one of he best anniversaries I've ever had with you, and I want to keep having them. Will you stay by my side forever? Will you marry me Erza Scarlet?
