I thought of this while listening to this song. This was one of Scott's songs of the week and leave it to me to find some hidden meaning. So this is pretty much just the song lyrics lol.

"Why are you telling me this now? You had over 10 years to tell me that!? And you bring this up now? Really Mitch?" Scott yelled.

He had just got into a fight with Alex about spending too much time with Mitch and how they acted more like a couple than they he and Scott. Alex had asked for a temporary break and left their house. Cue Mitch coming in to try to mend Scott's broken heart, ending up with a few shared kisses and a confession that was way overdue.

"Mitch. You could've told me this before. Are you just telling me this because you feel bad? Is it for the Scömìche shippers? I don't get it?" Scott asked, confused to say the least.

He had always felt something for his best friend, he just didn't want to act on it, because he was scared of rejection and ruining their friendship.

"I-I had to. I couldn't stand by and watch as you went on fighting with Alex. I couldn't stand not being with you after all these years..."

"I don't know Mitch.."

"Tell me you don't feel the same way and I'll drop it." Scott couldn't find the words to express how he felt, "Exactly."

Scott sighed, "I pictured this situation going differently." Mitch looked at Scott, wondering what he meant, "Us.. Coming to terms with our feelings, actually telling each other.. Well you telling me. I tell you all the time, you just thought I meant it in the friendly way..."

"Scott..."

"So you're not just fucking with me? You're not doing this because you don't like Alex or because you want some arm candy?" Scott asked as Mitch sighed.
