(In the video Mitch is Kat Graham)
"Come on, Scott. It won't be that bad!" I rolled my eyes, "Kirst, you're dragging me to a gay bar!"
"You need to get out. After you and Xavier broke up, you've been in a slump." "I walked in on him and my best friend fucking... On my couch... In my house! Of course I'd be in a slump." She couldn't be serious. I had every right to seclude myself. She rubbed her face in frustration, "Okay. Yeah, you're right. But you can't stay locked in a room forever! You're too amazing for that." I gave her a pitiful look, "Let's go..." Of course she'd ruin the moment.
We entered the foggy building. Lights were flashing everywhere and Estelle's song Freak was blaring from the speakers. I took a deep breath and followed Kirstie through the many sweaty bodies to the main stage. There was some type of performance going on involving some guy named 'Honey'. Obviously that had to be a stage name, but it fit his moves. They were sweet and smooth... I was in a hypnotic trance. Speaking of Hypnotic, that sounded good right now. I turned to Kirstie and told her I was heading to the bar and for her to find a table near the stage. I walked to the bar and ordered a shot and a round of Hypnotic. As I waited I looked to the stage to find a different dancer.
I furrowed my non-existent brows, where'd he go? "Hey Av, can I get some Chardonnay before I go back up?" I whipped around to see the boy from the stage tapping his long fingernails on the countertop. The bar tender came back with his drink and 'Honey' was reaching in his wallet to pay, "Let me handle that for you." Shit, did I just do that? Both men turned to me with raised brows. "You're gonna buy mama's drink, huh?" He said as he took a sip from the glass in front of him. "Yeah..." The boy looked at the bartender, then made his way to me.
"You don't even know me, and your buying my drink." He said with a smirk creeping on his lips.
"We could get to know each other""I don't know about that."
"Friday night..." I suggested
"Working."
"Saturday"
"Teaching... And working."
"Well.. When are you free?"He stared me down, then his smirk returned, "I'm a busy woman, I may never get a day off."
"That would be a tragedy." I said as I gripped my chest dramatically.
"I like you," he said smiling "I'm done at 12. Wait up for me." I returned his smile, "Only if you put on a nice show." Chuckling, he replied "I'll put on a show for you. " He winked, and walked away.
I walked back over to Kirstie, she had found a table awfully close to the stage and I was glad she did. I had a front row seat to the beautiful and mysterious 'Honey'. "Took ya long enough... Did you get his number?" "Huh.." "You can't tell me you didn't meet a guy!" "I-I mean-" I was cut off by the lights going out. "What the hell?"
All of a sudden there was a red spotlight on stage. "This is for a special someone..." A voice said... It was his. Then his silhouette appeared as he started to dance. This wasn't like the one he was doing when I had arrived, this was sensual. Was this all for me?
I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I could feel Kirstie staring at me, so I turned, "What?" "Its him isn't it?" And before I could respond, there he was in front of me again. "Get it." He whispered and motioned to his waistband. He decided to take this opportunity to straddle me in my seat as the crowd cheered. "Reach down and get it daddy." He purred into my ear. He took my hands and guided them to the folded piece of paper and I pulled it out. "Good job." He got back up and sashayed away.
I looked up at Kirstie, too stunned to do anything, "Open it you big oaf!" She exclaimed. I slowly unravelled the note, then a smile grew on my face. I turned towards the stage and he winked at me. I looked back at the paper...
The name's Mitch.
