You curled up next to Joseph. You two had been trapped in wherever the hell this was for a long time. You where cold, hungry, scared, and tired. But any time you tried to sleep, you would have terrible nightmares. Sebastian got separated from you guys too long ago to remember. You hoped he was still alive. You wrapped your arms around yourself, trying to keep warm. Joseph noticed, concerned.
"Should I go try to find something to make a fire?" He asked.
"N-no!" You exclaim, grabbing onto his arm. "Don't leave me, please." You whispered.
Joseph sat beside me again, pulling me closer to him and putting what little blanket we had around our shoulders.
"I know it's been hell, but, we will make it out of here. I know we will. " he said, kissing your forehead. You sighed.
"I really hope so, Joseph."
"How did this happen? Why? Why us?" You sobbed.
"It's okay. We're together. And we will make it out of this together, I promise."
The both of you were as close as you could get, and without saying any words, you fell asleep. And for the first time in months, you slept through the night.
