hello. i hope the ones who read this one-shot book read this part because this is a really important chapter.
this part is named "#ELECTION2016". why do you ask? well, election day is just around the corner (specifically, next week) and election day is (for me) the most important event in the history of a country. election is the one who tells us who is the president of our country, the new senators and etc.
is this part, i will share what i think. and what i think is that, we shouldn't depend on the next president of our country.
"Well, who or what should we depend on then?" is the question that is wondering in your mind. the one who we should depend on is GOD.
yes. you heard me right. GOD. as in the GOD that is in Heaven. the reason why we should depend on Him is because GOD is wise and just. the next president of our country can commit mistakes but GOD cannot and will not. the next president of our country CANNOT make a big difference in our country but GOD can. Written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you HOPE and a FUTURE." He already has a plan for us that will prosper us, have hope, and makes us have a future.
and also, we should also depend on ourselves. you see, we have a decision. we can choose to be a rebel or we can choose to obey to the authorities. we can choose to NOT walk with God (which will result that we will be miserable) or we can choose to follow His commands. and let's say the president who won is so just and powerful but we don't obey him or her. do you think this country will prosper?
