He hated the case on immigration he always did.

If not for his old friend's request he would never had taken this case.Siting in the bar with almost 4 empty bottles Mr Harold Jenkins ordered a round of shots to add in kick he was just experiencing by practiced drinking.

Without any political ties or financial background he was in late 30's still was youngest most intelligent lawyer in State. He was a orphan a self made man. In profession ruled by old men, where experience was meant to determine your progress .This young man shattered that idea at roots.

Even drunk he was able to outwit most intelligent lawyer this people could throw at him.Standing 6" feet tall, his piercing blue eyes were his most dangerous weapon.

His calm voice could bring out truth from person who was sworn liar.Due to this qualities he was in top lawyers league Europe ever produced.Same was the reason most lawyers hated him and avoided him.

The likes of him to take an immigration case was like Tiger strolling in jungle eating grass .

(JUST fact Tigers eat grass sometime it helps them in digestion not related to story lol)

He revised the facts .He was defendant of Mr James R. Redwick.Age 24. Charge illegal trespassing. 4 years jail if found guilty.Witness patrol guard on duty.

His attendant came running "Sir!!Our case is about to start. You must stay in your senses. This is so wrong."

Foolish guy drinking was his plan to win this case but he never bothered to explain.

Eyebrows were raised when they saw him enter courtroom swaying. He saw at his appointee and saw that young man was terrified.

He was sure he saw clear defeat in eyes of Mr James who was his exact copy of youth.Mr Harold was himself shocked when he first encountered this young man,James.

It was as if watching in mirror only his eyes were a shade green and this guy was lean.

The case began and the main witness was called on dais. Mr Harold was still swaying started his argument.

"So you were the patrol guard that saw Mr James right. What do you see in me ?"

The guard was confused, "You are drunk , Sir" He stammered .
"Exactly "
The opposition lawyer was now nervous ."Objection.My Lord the defandant lawyer in intimating the witness. "

The judge himself was ammused by Mr Harold's behaviour still he wanted to know where it lead ,
"Objection overruled Mr Harold may continue. "

"So at what time you noticed the suspect? "

"Half past 12."

"The distance between you and the suspect "

"About 60 feets?"

"Excellent, you have learned your answers well . Now what time your duty shift ends?"

"12 ."Sweating.

"So what were you doing at 12.30?"

"Sir, I was drinking ."

"Very good now I want you to go out and drink exact amount and return and follow the instructions I write down."

All were shocked as the events unfolded

The guard was utterly confused he had to do what he was asked to do.On return he was horrified to see two Mr James on dias.

A simple note was hung down stating, from distance of 60 feets point out Mr James.

When the case was over James was in tears. He called out ,"Mr Harold truly I am forever in debt to you.The moment you stood besides me I was sure that guard would recognise us apart but your idea worked as a charm.Still why were you drunk , that sure scared the hell out of me."

Mr Harold smiled, the kid was smart no one had asked him that,"Mainly to distract the judge.Second reason under any law I can't ask main witness to get drunk but being drunk myself the opposition failed to point that out."I winked my eye at James.

"Means you are trying to say If you were not drunk I would be in jail. Then I owe you a dinner at my place with drinks .Mr Willson will be present too."

"Offcourse, that old Brat is the only reason I saved your ass."
Both left the court premises laughing
