Riki and Emma rush over to Cleo to make sure that she's okay. " what happened, did she see you" both girls asked. " no guys if it wasn't for Lewis she would of seen me" cleo says as she winks at Lewis. " well guys lets get home. I'm tired" Emma says. They all agree and head for the moon pool to head home.
The next day
Cleo wakes up and heads down stairs to find don, Sam but no Kim in the living room, sort of like an intervention. " cleo sit down we want to talk to you about something" don says, " we think since you're finished high school you should learn an important life skill... Swimming!" Sam said. Cleo froze her heart was racing " umm no thanks I can swim just in a different way you see I'm a mer......" Cleo realised that she couldn't hide it from her parents Anymore she wanted to tell them that she was a mermaid but not now, not when Kim's around. " come to the beach on the west side at 5:45pm and I'll,show you guys something." Cleo walks out in a cheerful mood, She remembered about yesterday and how she needed to tell Bella and get the girls to come with her to investigate the ship that Coasta is doing her research. She calls Bella then texts the girls to meet under coastas boat.
30minutes later
All four girls are under the boat and waiting for the perfect time to move in, but that man keeps walking out onto the deck. Coaster calls out " derrick come in here now" the girls move onto the boat pulling themselves out of the water then got steam dried by Riki. They looked around and found a laptop full of research. They pulled up a file called: the fear of water, it was on therapy they acted around water and her theories as to why, one of them was mermaid like creatures of witchcraft. Emma pulled out a USB and downloaded the research just in time because coasta was heading out. The girls fled. As they splashed into the water Coasta heard and ran over only to catch a quick glimpse of an orange tail, or what had looked to be.
Once they got to Emma's place they opened up coastas research and see all these theories on full moon, mermaids and even acknowledges dr denmens research as they were cousins. They freaked out and decide to turn it off.
" right guys we need to throw Coasta off our path or,we're all doomed" Emma ordered.
" we could befriend her and then take a look at her research" Bella suggested
" maybe that could work oh no guys I'm meant to be meeting dad and Sam at the beach I'm telling them I'm a mermaid no Kim so it's all good". Cleo yells as she's running off.
