chapter seven

"it's very nice to meet you jj," she said, shaking his hand, "just in time courtney. one minute later and you'd have been grounded.."

"yes, i know. i'm sorry mum. is it okay if jj stays round tonight?" i asked her.

"yeah alright, if you two behave, you could share the back bedroom." she told us.

"thank you mum!" i kissed her on the cheek and grabbed jj's arm. i pulled him upstairs whilst he shouted "it was nice to meet you mrs owen!" we went into the back bedroom where there was a flat screen tv and a double bed. we pulled the curtains and picked a dvd to watch before bed. we both loved les mis so decided on that one. i grabbed some snacks whilst jj tried on one of my over sized tee shirts that he could wear to bed. i came up with chocolate, pringles, coke and lots of sweets. "i'll go get dressed quickly. do you want to set up the dvd?" i asked, he nodded and kissed my cheek. when i came back in he had the film ready, pulled the curtains, lit a few candles around the room and had all the food set up. "aw jj! you shouldn't have!" i said.

"you let me stay round your house, its the least i could do!" he replied. i walked over to him and kissed his forehead. i snuggled into bed next to him and he shuffled really close to me. he put his arm around me and pulled me into him. i put my hand on his chest and placed my head on his shoulder. we started the movie and dug in to even more food! we'd eaten a lot at the picnic but somehow we still had an appetite! about two hours later the film came to an end. i was crying because les mis was so sad so jj looked at me and wiped the tears from my face. "we should get some sleep. school again tomorrow.." i said.

"oh god, we do.. in the morning i'll get dressed then come round to yours so we can get the bus together okay?" he asked.

"yep! night night babyboy." i replied.

"sleep well beautiful, sweet dreams princess." he told me. i smiled then got comfortable with him. we blew out the candles then pulled the duvet over us. we closed our eyes and fell asleep together. it was so perfect being in his arms, he was so warm and comforting. i was so glad he was finally mine.
