What you must understand ,
Is that the sound of your laughter,
Is all that I ever want to hear for all of eternity.
A laughter as beautiful as that,
Has managed to haunt me everyday.
Now that you've forgotten to smile at me ,
The memory of your laughter is all that keeps me going on.
What you must understand ,
Is that I was looking forward to a forever with you.
A forever in which you were my entire universe.
But alas,you realised how unworthy of your love I was.
A damaged,broken and shattered being such as myself,
Is unworthy of a forever with you,I suppose.
What you must understand ,
Is that I would have never wanted for us to cease to exist.
With you, I was learning to love.
But now,without you,I longingly look back to the times when you taught me how to love.
What you must understand ,
Is that I tried.
A person such as myself,
Who was incapable of love,
Gave herself to you in the most wholesome way possible.
I tried to give you a forever you would never want leave,
But alas,you found a forever much better than mine.
What you must understand ,
Is that if I ever get a chance I again,
I will try again.
I will try and give you the forever you want.
But alas,just as we ceased to exist,
I ceased to exist as well.
