I suddenly felt weak, collapsed on my knees and sank to the ground."Tommy...talk to me Tommy!...Don't just leave me like that" I sobbed shaking him with my shaky hands as I kept on crying.
Everyone was silent. They looked at me sadly.
The fox came and sat down beside me. One of my classmate took a stone and aimed it at the Fox."NO! Just leave it alone! okay?...It is a friend" I yelled.
The fox sniffed at Tommy and then disappeared. It reappeared again with a container filled with water. It was a hollow stone so that it could be used as a container. It kept it near Tommy's mouth and jerked it's nose at me .
"Hey! I think Tommy is alive! He seems to be breathing. Give him some water Michael!" Emillie said excitedly.
I cupped my hands and forced some water in Tommy's mouth. He coughed furiously.
He was alive! I cried with joy and hugged both the Fox and Tommy at the same time. The Fox was a real hero and my dearest friend.
