I could not stand it any longer. I ran to help Roxy.
The wolves ran away scared as I yelled with all my might and rushed forward.
I examined the poor creature.
It was limping weakly. It had hurt it's paw badly.
"Don't worry Roxy...You will be fine! No one will hurt you again." I said comfortingly and gave it a big hug relishing the pleasant feeling of its fluffy fur."Michael is that you?" A scared voice asked.
It was Emillie. "Hey look tiny foxes!" she said suddenly. I turned back.
Roxy and the other Fox were playing with two small foxes who chased after their tails and pounced on each other playfully.
"How adorable!" Emillie exclaimed.
"I am going to name the other fox foxy." I said.
"And this one is Ruby and that one will be Blaze" Emillie put it.I nodded. "Yeah! that's a great name Emillie!".
Suddenly Roxy fell down.
It could not walk."Awww is it hurt?" Emillie asked with concern.
I nodded sadly.
"Don't worry you will be fine! We will take good care of you!" Emillie said.
"Let's take it to the cave." I suggested.
We carried roxy to the cave. Foxy, Ruby and Blaze followed us slowly.
Tommy was still asleep.
We all rested there waiting for the rain to stop.
