At night it suddenly began raining very heavily. It was freezing cold. The howling, raging wind was hurting my face as it slashed continuously against me.
"It's so cold in here! Let's take shelter in that cave over there until the rain stops." Emillie suggested. I nodded.
We were exhausted so we tried to build a fire but Tommy told us it was dangerous to build it inside the cave.
So we all cluttered to the edge of the cave together to avoid the biting cold weather and we rested in the sand. The wind blew and we all shivered in the cold despite being close together for warmth.
I looked at Tommy and Emillie. They were both sleeping soundly.
Suddenly I heard a frightened howl. It seemed as if something was hurt.
"Roxy!" I exclaimed and ran in the biting cold, and harsh freezing rain.
I shielded my face with my hands.
I was drenched from head to toe but I did not care.I knew that roxy was in danger and I had to help it. I stopped suddenly and looked in shock at what I saw.
A pack of wolves surrounded Roxy and another fox. They started fighting and roxy was badly bruised.
It looked at me with sad eyes.
