Chapter 22

*A few weeks later* (we are now in the middle of September)

Tobin POV
It's been crazy weeks Ashlyn, Alex and I have been planning and still not out because it's not October. Lauren hasn't been seen or heard from lately but we have our eyes open. I don't speak to my dad since he tried to pay off and make Alex sign something to get out of my life.

Alex and I well it's a roller coaster, our emotions became so real lately. I could say one thing and Alex is crying, like I didn't understand what's making her so emotional. I learn over the summer we done so crazy shit, first I date a crazy person, Alex gets pregnant and other things. I shouldn't have leave and I should have stop Alex doing the movie. Since the summer I figured out that me and Alex is stronger then before. Love is what is holding us together, we fight each day for us, parents are deceiving about our relationship, yet here we are together and happy.

Secondly, I love the fact our feels are being told. I admit I hated to say them, but I didn't care now who around me anymore. I tell her something everyday, if we are not together at nights I normally leave notes around her room. I'm guess I'm a sucker for love.

Mostly the best thing is soccer. Soccer practice been great, I'm glad my leg is back to normal. We been having scouts come to our off seasons to be honest I have California of Berkeley, UNC, Maryland, UCLA and Santa Clara looking at me in the moment. I know I told Alex I will doing anything for her which means turning down UNC, but she doesn't want me too. Either way where I decided it's good for my future and hopefully for Alex.

I'm sitting in my boring English class just doodling and pretending to read this book. I felt my phone vibrate I pulled it out of my pocket and saw Alex text me "hey babe" I smiled. Wait when she does hey babe she either wants something or she got something to tell me. I replied "hi babygirl" once I sent it I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Miss Heath can you tell me what you just read and hand me your phone," Mrs. Gordon tells me.

"Umm I read about how the doctor screwed up and this monster is somewhere,"I tell her hoping she believe me and then turned my phone off handing it. "Thank you and Tobin I want you to write me a summary of this chapter," she tells me. What Frankenstein is so boring I'm never going to write that summary. "Yes ma'ma. Can I have my phone back after class?" I asked and she just looked at me and walked away.

Great Alex is going to kill me. I saw Sydney gave me a grin and then she handed me a note "I told her you got your phone take up chill" I turned to her and mouthed "thank you". The bell rung and I was about to run out of class, but I forgot I'm trying to get my phone back.

"So Mrs. Gordon I'm sorry I didn't pay attention I will do what you want me too do" I say then she stop me "Tobin I just want you to try I can tell you don't English because it's boring but I need you to understand this is your grade. Not only for soccer, but for college, ranking in the senior class" she tells me and I nodded. She handed me my phone and I said "yes Mrs. Gordon," and walked out of her classroom.

You gotta be kidding me I hate how she talked me after class, English is my second last class before soccer period. I had to run the halls and got changed quick. I jogged to the field and everybody turned to me "hey sorry I got caught up" I say. "Tobin Heath I heard about you phone situation, yet your not off the hook give me 25 laps" coach Ellis tells me.

Alex's POV
I'm with my partner for today Moe because Tobin is running laps. I didn't mean to get her phone taken away but I was bored so I texted her. Yes, I had something to tell her but when Sydney text me and told hs he got her phone took in up I decided to wait.

I don't really don't understand why she was late. Mrs. Gordon can be a strict teacher when she wants to be, maybe she's on Tobin's case about grades. "Earth Alex" I hear Moe say. "My bad sorry" I said as I passed the ball. "It's cool and why was Tobin late" she asked me. "I don't know I guess later" I tell her before we heard a whistle blew.
