Prom was two weeks away. Together with your two best friends Finn and Bianca; you went to the dress store to buy your gowns and Finn's suit. Regardless to the fact that you were not expecting him to come to what you and Bianca planned to be a girls' day; you felt like the outsider and the third wheel since they are dating. They've been going out since sophomore year and since then, it has been quite impossible to hide that you're the duff in the clique.

"Remind me again why you're here?" You asked Finn jokingly.

He rolled his eyes at you, "I need to buy my own suit you know. And besides, I need a fashion expert to guide me." He referred to Bianca.

"You do realize that we're having a girls' day right?"

"Now, now (Y/N)," he said, "It would be rude to tell me to go away now."

"You know what's ruder?" Bianca questioned, not taking her eyes off the displayed gowns, "You sabotaging our day."

"Oh, sorry babe," he smirked at his girlfriend before ensuing in glaring at you. You pulled out your tongue and winked at the same time in return.

"You shouldn't have just told him where we were going," you told Bianca.

"Big mistake," She replied.

"Come on it's not that bad!" Finn asserted, "Fine. I'll treat you girls for dinner after this. Take it as a peace offering."

A small smile crept in the corner of your lips in victory and you agreed on it.

There were only a few people in the dress store which made it easier for everyone to look around. You spot a nice sky blue colored dress and you took it off from where it was hanged. You were just about to fit it in the dressing room when Bianca held your arm; you turned around and she was pointing at the dress.

"You can't wear that," she said and criticized that, "sky blue doesn't suit you."

"I'll pretend that you didn't just say that," you said trying not to be offended, "and what are you talking about? This one is really nice."

"Take it from the words of a professional (Y/N)." Finn commented out of nowhere, "I think you know enough to trust her taste in fashion."

You shrugged, "All right then."

For you, it felt like ages. It only took them at least ten minutes to find their outfits while you were stuck at being Bianca's doll who keeps on trying out different dresses every five minutes. After six attempts, she finally settled down in a red gown. You could see that its gorgeous, the fitted structure would cling to you hardly concealing anything. The sheer fabric glistened in the light, the flecks of gold in the luxurious champagne color made it look a million dollar. You tried to picture yourself in this supreme dress at prom and you pictured myself dancing, twirling to the music with the fabric wrapping around you. It was a glorious sight, enough to make your heart race at the thought of it.

"Wow," Finn commented.

"You look gorgeous," Bianca complimented,

"Thanks guys," You smiled.

"Wait till' we match that with the right shoes!" She said excitedly.

"I-uh," You stammered, "Could you do a favor for me Bianca?"
