PAN/CROP EFFECT
STEP 1- add your clip and split it (using your keyboard letter 's') where you would like to zoom in. Then click on the squareish option at the end of the clip. That is pan/crop.
STEP 2- a new window should pop up and that's your workplace. Near the bottom of the window there is a bar with timecodes above, go out 4 seconds and zoom in by pulling in the sides of the outlined box.
STEP 3
(optional but recommended) right click on the first keyframe (the diamond) and click on 'smooth' for, well, a smooth zoom.
GLOW
STEP 1- in the video fx collumn, there is a 'Glow' effect, drag the first default onto your clip that you zoomed in on.
Use the following settings;

Now, click on the clock looking thing beside the numbers for 'Intensity', a bar should pop up at the bottom. Then move 10 seconds or 6 seconds out and slide the 'Intensity' slider to 0.
