Chapter Nine: Problems

It's been two weeks since team buttholes have left the village for the mission. Colton, Aron, Grace, and Brandon have become great friends. They're also friends with the others except Grace who still won't trust them even after the boys try to convince her.
They decided to stop since it was getting dark. They were running out of food so they all had to eat light. Jason asked Brandon if he could scout the land right quick since he was the fastest  person they have.
"I got good news and bad news," Brandon said as he came running back.
"Start with the good news," Jason said tapping is foot impatiently.
"Well, the good news is we can make it to Eli's by tomorrow."
"And the bad news?"
"There's a huge gap in our path. We will have to make a plan to get across it."
"Well, we will think of something when we get there, for now let's just get some rest," Colton said yawning.
"Good idea," Jason said, also yawning.
Soon everyone was in there tents yawning. Brandon agreed to go on watch first, but Kevin wouldn't let him. Instead he made Colton do it, because he felt like Colton should actually do something for once.

Colton looked at the fire he just made. This must be the fifth time he recreated the fire. He was bored out of his mind. With out anyone to talk too, time took forever. Then he herd a bush shake behind him. He turn around ready to fight. Then spear was thrown at him. Colton dodge the spear, which hit a tree behind him.
"Where under attack!" Colton screamed as loud as he could.
Soon everyone was out of there tents running away from the danger.
"Were are we going!?" Andrew asked panicking.
"Just follow me!" Brandon yelled as the eight of them ran to a cliff.
"We're trapped!" Hayden yelled panicking too.
Colton then looked at Aron, Grace, and Brandon. Then looked at Andrew and Hayden and said,
"Take care of them."
Then he wrapped the five kids with his tail and threw them across the gully.
"Ready to fight for our crimes?" He asked with his fists ready.
"Yeah!" Jason and Kevin screamed.
"Guys, no!" Brandon screamed, scared of what's going to happen to his friends.
A huge pack of people came ready to fight. Among those people was a horse who had an sword drawn. It was made of pure sliver and gold and had a tip of lead. The three soon realized who it was.
"Well, well, look who we got here," Jason said, playfully punching Kevin," isn't Tyler the war horse."
"Well, well, I didn't think that you would've been one of the scouts Jacob sent. After all," Tyler paused so he could grin,"you are a thief."
Jason made a fist. Tired of the horse mocking him. He put out his claws along with Kevin and Colton.
"If we're going down, your coming with us!" Kevin screamed while the three of them charged at the pack.
A few lions jumped on top of Jason, but he threw them away from him. He took out a few horses and deer. He started to go dear Tyler when he was slammed into a near by rock. Jason spit out blood and then turn to see his pusher. A tall bull was standing in front of him. He had no weapon, just his horns. He knew who it was, Talon.
Talon charged again, but this time Jason dodged the attack and then Talon rammed into the rock. Jason started to walk away when he felt something go threw his stomach. He looked at his stomach to see that there was two holes in his stomach. One in his heart. He fell to the ground as Talon's horns dripped blood.
Kevin saw that they just lost Jason, so he went to go get Talon when he was thrown to the ground. Kevin looked up to see two big fury fists beating a black chest. Kevin knew who it was, Steven the Gorilla. Steven always hated him. He didn't know why, but he knew that this was the end when Steven threw his fists at Kevin's head. He rapidly kept hitting him until blood covers his fists. Kevin's skull was flatten.
Colton looked at Kevin shocked. He was scared. They are no match for champions. He doesn't even have the mark, but they did. Steven's was on the right side of his chest, while Talon's was on his left horn. Champions were no joke. They are given a mark that represents that they are best of the best. They are no guardian, but are still are powerful.
Colton then saw Tyler, wide open. He dashed for him and tackled him to the ground. His sword slides across the ground away from them. Colton was on top of Tyler, about to beat him up when Tyler smiled. Colton was confused until he was thrown off Tyler. He looked up to see that Steven had thrown him off.
He landed on the ground and yelped. His foot was broken. Then Tyler came close to him with his sword in his hands. Colton turned to see that the other five were still watching.
"Aron," he yelled with his final breath.
Aron looked at him.
"Take care of Grace and Brandon with your life. They're the only things I've ever care about. Now run!" He screamed as the five ran away.
"Time to pay for your crimes," Tyler said slicing Colton's neck with his sword. He looked at Talon and Steven.
"Bring back Aron, Grace, and Brandon and do not harm them," he said to them firmly, then he smiled," but do whatever to the other two.
That made the two champions grin and then they were off.
Clinton stay where he was in the air. He saw the whole thing. He had to tell Heaven what happen. Then he was off.

"Nooooooo!!!" Grace screamed as they were running away from the light side pack.
Aron was carrying Grace and Brandon since they wanted to help him.
"We have to go back!" Brandon screamed, upset that the light side just killed their friends like that.
"We have no choice. They are champions, we don't stand a chance." Andrew said nervously.
"Well I do!" Brandon said as he lift his left sleeve to reveal a blue E on his arm.
Every one stop and gasp. Aron let go of him and Grace, who was pretty shocked.
"Your a guardian!" Hayden screamed excitedly.
"Well no matter, because Colton told me to protect you two with my life and that's exactly what I'm going to do!" Aron screamed as he put a grip on Brandon and Grace. They struggled to break free for awhile, but soon found it better that he was protecting them.
"Look what we have here."
The five of them turned around to see a fist slam Hayden into a tree. Blood ran down from the toads body since his neck snapped. Then Andrew took a horn to the heart. Grace put her head into Aron's chest. His fur was now wet from her tears.
"I see Grace and Brandon, but where's Aron? I don't see a vulture," Steven said confused.
"No, this Aron is a coyote," Talon explained, pointing at Aron.
Aron took off running with two crying children in his arms. He kept on running until he tripped on a rock. Then everything went black.

Tyler was happy when Steven and Talon came back with his three prizes. Now all that is missing is the potions from Eli and Heaven herself.
