Chapter Three: Trouble

The rain was dripping off her cheeks. One minute she was under the stars looking at two sleepy heads the next she's taking shelter under a tree with the two sleepy heads. She tapped the boy on the head and saw him started to wake up. The boy smiled at the girl.
"How are you Lacey?" The boy asked getting up gently so he wouldn't wake the girl beside him.
"I'm doing pretty good Brandon, how did you like that buffalo steak I got you?" Lacey asked with her leopard tail waving the air.
"I loved it thank you for getting it for me."
"No problem," she said.
Brandon couldn't keep his eyes off of Lacey. She was the second best fighter in the land. First being him, he was the only person she couldn't beat and she could not stand it and he likes that. She had a curved body that every boy would die for. She was smart, quick, and deadly. A combination most boys couldn't handle.
"I still want a rematch," Lacey said grinning,"I almost had you last time," she joked.
"Yeah, that's what they all say," Brandon joked.
Heaven started to wake up and when she did her eyes widen when she saw Lacey talking to Brandon. She didn't know what it was, but she didn't like her much. It also didn't help that Brandon liked her. He was always around her when she was hanging out with them. She understand she was the second best fighter in the land and was Jakob's guardian, but that just made the feeling in her worst.
"Hey Lacey What are doing here?" She asked trying not to show what she was just thinking.
"Nothing much just waiting for this rain to go down and for you to wake up. Jakob wants to see you. He said it was urgent."
"Let's get going we got no time to waste," Brandon said excitedly,"here you can take my jacket Lacey to shelter you from the rain," Brandon said taking his blue jacket off to show a green hoodie Heaven never seen before.
"Do you always were a hoodie under your jacket?" Lacey asked a little surprised.
"Always," he said like it was usual for someone to wear two jackets everyday.
"Alright that's cool, thanks for the jacket."
"Your welcome," Brandon said smiling.
They all started walking towards Jakob's castle. Lacey and Brandon were talking about their life's while Heaven was just in her own thoughts. She didn't know why, but for some reason a feeling was forming in her and it was not a good feeling. She was jealous. Jealous at Lacey, because Brandon always talks with her when she was around, but she shouldn't be jealous. Brandon always hangs around her and they are pretty much siblings. Plus, she was in a good relationship with Jakob.
For the rest of the way Heaven was in her thoughts. Thinking of her and Jakob, but every once in awhile she couldn't help but think of her and Brandon together.

Luran was running as fast as her little panda legs would let her. She was running to Heaven's castle to tell anyone what she saw. It was horrible both their princess and their guardian were captured by Lacey, of all people.
She jumped over tree trunks and dodged huge logs. She had to tell Tyler or Talon, or somebody.
Luran ran past the front gate of the village. She found Tyler at one of the market stands.
"Ty-yler we ha-ave a prob-blem," Luran said tired from all that running.
"And that is?" Tyler asked confused.
"Heaven and Brandon have been captured by Lacey!"
"What!" Tyler screamed, shocked that it happened.
"Yeah, I saw Lacey holding Brandon by his collar and Heaven just staring at them scared."
"We have to do something we can't have the princess of light on the dark side." William the mouse said in a very squeaky voice.
"What happens if they both turn to the dark side?" Katherine the pufferfish asked,"then we all be dead!"
"Clam down every one. I'm sure Tyler has a plan to fix this." Talon the bull said winking at him.
"Well I-um."
"Great now our war major turned stupid,"Lucas said tired of everyone being scared,"I'll just go fly there to see if they are okay." With that he took of to the sky.
"Great now bird brains left. Our third most important person." Katherine said angry.
"And why is he that important?" Lizze the lion asked confused.
"Because he is Brandon's and Heaven's best friend. If they found out something happened to him will all be dead!" Katherine said feared of what Heaven and Brandon might do to them.
"Listen I'm sure we can think of something." Logan the sloth said to everybody trying to calm them all down.
"Well listen genius your the smart one around here so get to thinking!" Baylee the flamingo said yelling at him.
"I got an idea why don't we just go over to their castle and ask for them back?" Tj the mouse said very cute like.
"Good idea if you want Josh and Maddox the wolves to rip you to shreds!" Katherine screamed which made Tj squeal.
"Listen you idiots I don't know who's doing what, but I don't care. Maybe we should head over there to make sure bird brains don't get beat up or worse." Dalaynie the grizzly bear said disappointed that they just let Lucas go to the dark side's castle by himself.
"Clinton since your part bat go check on Lucas. We will be there very soon." Tyler said very leader like.
"Finally, your taking charge like your suppose to," Baylee said impatient at the horse."
Clinton then took off to the skies. Leaving nothing in sight.
"Today is going to be a long day." Talon said to himself shaking is head at what he just saw.

"Please, no, get away from me!" Screamed Roper the lemming.
He was running for his life for Aron the vulture was chasing him. He didn't get why he was chasing him, but his prey instinct kicked in and now he was running from him.
"Get over here you furry hair ball!" Aron screamed,"you might as well give up. That orange strip down your back is a dead give away."
Roper just screamed and kept on running. Then he made a mistake and slip on a lose rock and fell down the cliff they were on. Roper's leg was broken. He couldn't move.
"Now, now, clam down little guy. I just want to ask you my question again," Aron paused and stared into Roper's eyes. His beak touching his nose,"where is Brandon!" He screamed right in his face.
Roper just stared at him confuse why he was asking that question. Aron then snap his beak in his face which made roper jump and then he started talking.
"Okay, okay I'll tell you," Roper started,"he's at Furrsville, but you will never get there he's on the other side of the lands and you never been there."
Aron just stared at him then looked at the sky.
"I'll just follow the wind."
"How, is the wind your friend or something?"
Aron just laughed and then put his talon on Aron neck.
"The wind is like death, it's always by my side."
Then he snap Roper's neck then soar in the air heading towards Furrsville.
