Chapter 10: Despair Disease

  Souda, who had checked on Gundam merely minutes before, felt his heart drop at the mention of this new motive. Hopefully he wouldn't be the one contracting the disease, but there was a good chance that Gundam would, seeing as he was confined to his hospital bed at the moment. 

 The breeder slowly got out of the bed as his stomach now was bearable enough to walk, so he walked out of his room now going down the hall on his way towards souda.

  Souda stood, he needed to go check on Gundam, just to make sure that he was okay. 

  The breeder was running out of breath as his stomach now was still not in the best shape, he slowly made his way to the end of the hallway. "Souda." He breathed now really out of breath and a bit dizzy.

  Souda looked the breeder up and down. "Gundam, what are you doing out of bed?" He asked. 

 The breeder looked at the mechanic. "I was coming to check on you, to make sure you were alright Kazuichi."

"Gundam, I'm fine. How's your stomach feeling?" He asked.

 The breeder smiled. "A lot better but not fully recovered yet." He responded holding the other males hand. "I missed you."

  The mechanic pulled him into a loose hug, making sure not to press up against his abdomen too hard. "I missed you too, Gundam." He said quietly. He pulled away afterwards though, looking the breeder in the eyes. "Were you up when monokuma made that announcement about that bullshit new motive?" He asked. 

 The breeder nodded. "Yes that's why I came out here to see if you were alright I don't want you catching anything with the disease." He responded holding the other male in his arms.

  "I'll try my best not to, but you should go lay back down." He said sweetly. 

 The breeder nodded now holding the other males hand. "Lay down with me." He responded.

  "Alright, cutie." He smiled, leading the breeder back to his hospital room. 

 The breeder smiled and kissed the other males cheek as he was lead to his room. "Kazuichi, you are the cuter one here." He replied now looking at the other male.

  Souda rolled his pink eyes. "Please, Gundam. You're adorable." He said. 

 The breeder smiled. "Thank you souda, but I am a dark prince I shouldn't be adorable but around you I shall allow it." He replied kissing the other males lips gently.

  Once the two had gotten back to the room, Souda cuddled up in bed with the breeder. "Did you sleep well while I wasn't around?" He asked, laying his head on Gundam's chest. 

 The breeder nodded. "I slept alright mostly do to my body being fatigued. But I did miss your company." He responded wrapping his arms around the other male now kissing the mechanics neck softly.

  "This bed is really comfortable." He said happily. "Sleeping in the waiting room chair wasn't very fun...But I'm glad you were able to rest." 

 The breeder smiled. " it's more comfortable with you around kazuichi." He responded spooning the other male as he kissed the back of his neck softly.

  At this point, Souda had fallen asleep. He was exhausted and in the warmth and security that Gundam's arms provided for him, he found it unbelievably easy to drift off to sleep. 

 The breeder smiled and held him in his arms for awhile until he fell asleep as well with the mechanic still in his arms.

  Souda awoke the next day. He sat up on the edge of the bed, stretched a bit and yawned. Gundam was still sound asleep on the hospital bed and was snoring lightly. The mechanic ran a hand through his tangled, pink hair and decided to head all the way back over to the first island to pick something up from the Rocketpunch Market for him and Gundam. Before he left however, he wrote a small note to Gundam telling the breeder not to worry and that he'd be back soon if he happened to wake up before Souda returned.
