Savanna's POV

My life sucks. I constantly hear voices in my head, see images fly about like birds. That's why I love watching real birds fly, they remind of past, before Victoria Jay Fuller died.

The news of her death made me who I am. An 'oracle'. Only because I predicted that she would be stabbed by a child of Ares on a beach in LA. When it came true, everyone said I was an oracle. How nice!

But now the war was on, something else I predicted.

"Savanna!"

I continued to watch the the birds dry around the blood red sky.

Aidan came and sat down next to me. "We have a new girl."

I nodded. "Victoria Jay Fuller. I already know how this is going to end." I didn't look at Victoria.

"Oh. Do you want to-"

"No, I don't want to tell her future."

Victoria sucked in a breath.

Aidan sat up straighter. "Brittany orders you too."

I laughed. "She orders you to give Victoria a tour. There's no reason for you to be here."

Victoria finally got the bravery to sit next to Aidan.

"Please, Savanna. I need-"

"Want." I cut in.

Aidan grunted. "I want to know her future."

I sighed and stood. "Where is she?"

Victoria stumbled over to me. "Here,"

"Close your eyes." I put my hands on her head and closed my own eyes.

"The girl who started it all will win a small battle, lose a bigger one, before winning the main one." I paused, making it dramatic.

"She must chose to go back, or let her friends go for her."

Victoria gulped.

"Her past will come back and be her present, and soon her future. Finally," I said. "She must face what kills her to face, he must face what is making her so afraid."

Both Aidan and I gave Victoria a tour. We ended up finding three of our horses before Brittany.

"Do you know how to ride?" Aidan asked Victoria as I mounted one horse.

Victoria nodded. "I once dated a son of Poseidon. He taught me how to ride."

Aidan mounted and Victoria followed. We started the horses at a walk. Victoria looked fine as she walked her horse along the path.

"Trot?" Aidan asked.

I grunted. "Whatever, let's move."

We moved into a trot. I patted my horses neck. I think his name was Fred.

"Whoa, watch is Savanna!" Aidan screamed.

A log was in the middle of the path. Instead of stopping like they did, I jumped Fred over the log and continued to trot him in the bushes.

"Savanna!"

I could see what was about to happen: Aidan will jump over the log perfectly but Victoria will freeze and her horse we refuse to jump, sending her flying and breaking her collarbone.

I have two choices: one, I go back to Aidan and let Victoria ride with me over the log.
Two: I go back to camp and enjoy dinner.

Ugh, I know what I have to do, but I don't want to.

I turned Fred around and cantered him back into the bushes.

"Victoria doesn't know how to jump," Aidan said when I reached him and Victoria. "She-"

"I know." I glanced at Victoria for a simple second. "Don't let her jump, she'll break her collarbone."

Victoria went Pail.

"I'll jump her across," Aidan suggested.

I shook my head. "If you do that you'll faint while your airborne, Victoria won't know what to do and still break her collarbone."

Aidan gulped. "So you'll do it?"

No, figure it out yourselves! I wanted to say, but I didn't.

"Fine. I'll jump her across." I jumped the log again and Victoria sat behind me. We easily jumped the log for the 3rd time.

Victoria dismounted once we were over. "Thanks, I thought I would be-" I trotted Fred away before she could finish her sentence.
