I didn't have to be an oracle to see that Noah told Penny he still liked her. I tried not laugh as they made dinner. Penny shuffled around, trying to ignore Noah. When there arms brushed both of there faces went red.

"There ridiculous," I said to Jack.

He nodded. "It's so obvious what's happening. Wait till Aidan comes along.

"Uh-oh. That's going to be intense."

I walked Fred over to Brittany.

Her eyes widen. "I've been looking all over for him! Have you see Sky and Charm?"

I nodded. "Aidan and Victoria are riding them over."

"Speak of devil." Brittany said, pointing towards the bushes. Victoria and Aidan trotted out of bushes and dismounted.

"We found some horses," Aidan said. He passed them over.

"Thanks guys, Aidan, take Victoria over to Bec. She has to see the lake."

Aidan started towards the lake with Victoria trailing behind him.

"What do you think of her?" Brittany asked.

I thought for a second. "Don't like her. Probably why she died the first time."

Brittany laughed. "You were the one who told her future, your the one to blame."

I rolled my eyes. "She should've of made Ally mad."

Brittany was quiet for a second. "I see a lot of Ally in Jack."

"Same dad,"

Brittany shook her head. "No, something else. I mean, haven't you thought that Penny is like Jessica?"

"Who?" I asked.

"Jessica, Victoria's old best friend."

I was going to ask how she knew that, but I couldn't be bothered.

"And Noah is Derek. Victoria's old boy friend."

"The Poseidon kid?"

Brittany eyes went all big and weird. "How did you know?"

I shrugged. "Victoria said she dated a son of Poseidon. Or just dumb luck."

Brittany only nodded.

"What about me?" I asked. "Who am I like?"

Brittany was thoughtful for a second. "Maybe Grace. She's not an oracle, but you remind me of her."

I nodded. "Aidan?"

"Is Aidan."

"No," I said. "What person his he."

"Aidan," Brittany said. "Victoria knew a Aidan before here. She doesn't remember any of them but Ally."

I sat down cross legged on a rock. "Why?"

Brittany sighed. "I don't know. Maybe she doesn't want to remember. Want to know something that little bit creepy?"

I nodded. "Shoot."

"Aidan is the Aidan Victoria knew. The Aidan. But she doesn't remember him."

I nodded slowly. "Okay."

"She going too die again soon, Victoria I mean?"

I shook my head. "It's confusing because I try to see but everything gets all blurry and it hurts."

Brittany didn't reply.

I glanced at her for a second. You could see her past burning in her eyes. She never really speaks about her life before now, apparently it's too much for anyone to handle.

"Did you ever cry?" I asked. "Cry about what happened before here?"

Brittany sat down next to me. "No. I just the memories of my life burn away with everything else." She laughed. "Literally."

I knew I shouldn't been asking this... "What happened?"

Brittany didn't even pause. "I started a fire in my sleep. It brunt basically the whole town. Kirsten, my step sister, was able to save me and herself. Everyone else died."

I felt I emotion I never feel, empathy

"You must feel horrible, starting the fire and all."

Brittany nodded. "Yeah, I do."

Silence.

"I lied to Victoria," She said. "I told her that I was a daughter of Athen. It's not true."

I didn't say anything.

"I want to be a daughter of her," Brittany continued. "But instead I was given Hades."

I was sick of this. Empathy.

"That's it, I'm leaving. I really don't like feeling empathy, it's making me sick." I said.

Brittany laughed. "Aw, poor Savanna, she's finally feeling for someone else."

"How do you do it?" I asked walking away.
