Penny returned with a another cute guy and tanned girl with sandy hair. Both Penny and the guy were wet, but the girl wasn't.
"Penny," Aidan said. "Did you fall again?"
Penny shook her head before nodding. "Something like that."
Aidan raised one eyebrow. "Sure," He said, even though he sounded unsure.
"So, did you guys see anything out there in the bushes?" Brittany asked.
The girl shook her head. "Nothing. But, Noah?"
The other cute guy lifted his head. "I'm sorry? I wasn't listening."
The girl put a hand on her hip. "Why didn't you catch Penny?"
"Huh?" Penny said. "Someone say my name?"
Both Aidan's eyebrows went up.
"I was talking too Noah." The girl said, fixing up her sandy hair.
Penny looked at her feet. "Right."
Okayyyyyyyy. This was weird. And by the look on Aidan's face, he was thinking the same thing.
"Doesn't matter. It's almost 5. Noah and Penny, start cooking dinner. Aidan, give Victoria a tour. Jack, you can keep look out with Bec. Clear?"
"What about you?" I heard myself ask.
Brittany looked at me. "I'll be looking for the horses. Apparently they ran off." She hot Jack a look and he shrugged.
I only nodded.
"Well," Brittany said. "Go!"
Everyone scrambled away as Aidan took my hand. "Let's start with you meeting Savanna.You might know her as a oracle of our world."
"I haven't heard of her, sorry."
Aidan shook his head. "She's new, and your kinda remember the past 'cause you lived there and uh, stoping talking Aidan. Just walk." Aidan spun around and started walking, muttering to himself about walking and talking and stuff.
"We're are we going?" I asked.
"Somewhere." Aidan replied.
Great job Aidan! I kinda figure that! I wanted to say.
But I didn't, we just Continued to walk on.
