Business Dinner & The Big Move-21

Recap:

Zara had Chloe and Emma with Grayson when they had a one night stand, two to be exact. Some time later they see each other again but Zara pretends she doesn't know Grayson. But then Jason, Grayson's best friend, forces Zara to tell Grayson the truth. Grayson is shocked at first but he doesn't deny the two girls. Later on, a girl comes along, she's Grayson's wife. Zara is a little upset by that but then Grayson gets a divorce and Zara and he start kind of dating a little and go on trips with the girls and Zara meets Grayson's siblings.Now they are boyfriend and girlfriend.

Present time:

Today was the day of the dinner and I had nothing decent to wear. Well, that meaning I had a closet full of clothes but like every girl's nightmare, everything seemed just not right for the occasion.

So, that is why me and my friends, Sophia and Jace, were now searching through masses of clothes looking for the perfect outfit for the night. Something fancy and sparkly. Something that would scream "Yes, I'm the CEO's girlfriend!"

"This one!" Jace gasped from behind me. I turned to see him holding up a beautiful sparkly, champagne colored dress with a deep neck cut.

It flowed down beautifully and even thought the neckline was a bit risky. Perfect for a luxurious night out, and sure to make a statement.

I smiled at Jace as he handed me the beautiful dress along with matching heels but with no sparkles.

"Here," He smirked. "Go try them on." With a small push he guided me towards the dressing rooms where i slipped on the dress along with the heels.

"What do you think?" I opened the door to the dressing room and smiled, doing a short twirl for him.

His eyes widened and he fanned himself playfully making me laugh.

"Girl," He stretched out the word in exaggeration. "I don't like it at all." He deadpanned, taking my hand in his and spun me around a few times while i groaned.

Sophia poked her head from around the corner with a huge smile on her face. I raised my eyebrows in question, watching her almost squeal in joy.

"I found my dre-ess." She said in a sing-song voice as she basically bounced in her spot. Hiding the dress behind her body.

"Well, let us see it, woman!" I gestured with my hands for her to show us the dress and she giggled happily before pulling the dress from behind herself.

She placed the beautiful blue dress In front of her body and swayed side to side with a grin on her face. The dress was similar to the one Jace chose for me but with a different neckline and less sparkly, since Soph wasn't very fond of sparkles.

"We ready to go then?" Jace grinned and we nodded, me not so happily as i still needed a dress. Sophia payed for her dress and we left the store shortly after finally sitting down for a bite since we hadn't eaten anything since breakfast and Chloe kept complaining about being hungry.

We went into the nearest restaurant in sight and sat down to wait for a waiter to come and attend us.

"Oh! They have steak!" Jace happily announced as he scanned the menu. As I waited for my turn to order I took out my phone to see a message from Grayson.

Where are you,sweetheart?-Grayson

A smile made it's way onto my face as I read the message and quickly I started typing a message back.
