Zara

My next morning was one of the best mornings ever. I  woke up to my two princesses sleeping peacefully. No one cried or screamed. Baby Emma was sleeping quietly inside her crib and Chloe was wrapped around my body whilst snoring lightly. Her blonde hair sprawled around her head and her mouth slightly open.

My two best friends were in the kitchen cooking a delicious breakfast and my sister had already picked out my outfit. A pair of black shorts with a second layer of lace, a black crop top with a maroon knit sweater and some black doc martens with black knee length socks and black ray bans.

They bathed the kids while I took my shower and Alex did my makeup and hair beautifully. Chloe  was being well behaved, didn't say a word when told to shower or get dressed. I'm  starting to think my kids like my friends more than me.

We all ate breakfast together and I hugged and thanked them all before leaving my apartment with Chloe in my arms. I placed her in her seat and buckled her up before getting into my own seat and buckling up.

It took me half an hour to get to Grayson's  apartment since he lived in the rich part of town and that was a little far away. I had some trouble getting in since there was a security guy controlling the gates from the entrance. I had to call Grayson and tell him what was going on before the security man finally let me in.

His apartment was huge, it was pretty much a house or even bigger. It had an amazing front yard decorated with plant statues and a large fountain in the middle, there was a long driveway going from the very front of the yard, around the fountain and ended right in front of the main door.

Every house was surround by tall fences and big black gates. The neighborhood was amazing. It was a mansion, not a house or an apartment. I rang the doorbell which was located beside the gates and waited patiently until some man answered and let me in after I told him my name.

As I drove up the driveway I saw Grayson come out of the mansion and to my horror Jason, one  of the guys that saw me with Grayson when we first hook up, was standing right beside him. He had a smug look on his face along with a smirk.

They walked down the steps of the house to greet me.they were both dressed in some sweatpants and v-necks along with timberlands. They looked funny, a big difference from the attire important people like them dress in.

"Hello Ms.Davenport." Grayson greeted me with a formal hand shake. Jason went straight for a hug squeezing me tightly.

"I know it's you, Zara." he whispered in my hear. Grayson was facing the other way, answering his ringing phone.

"Yea, that's my name." I whispered back to him. There was no way he wouldn't recognize me, we pretty much became best friends when we met three years ago at that club.

"No, you're Zara. My Zara." he whispered. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he knew, I've really missed him. After a few seconds I finally allowed myself to hugged him back, burring my face in his chest just living in the moment.

"Mommy!" a little angry voice sounded from behind me. I turned to see Chloe with her arms crossed, sitting on her car seat staring angrily at me from inside the vehicle.

I hurried to unlock the car and pull my daughter from the oven the car had turned into. Her face was red either from anger or how hot the car was and there was sweat on her face. Yea, definitely the heat.

"I'm sorry princess, I'll take you for some lunch when we go back home. Ok?" she happily nodded heard head up and down while yelling 'panda express' again and again.

"Panda express it is then" I chuckled at her excitement. She has this weird obsession with Chinese food. But not just any Chinese food, only from panda express. At first when she discovered the name of the restaurant she cried so hard because she said she was eating her favorite animal and refused to eat there ever again. But her favorite animal soon became unicorns and then she fell in love with the Chinese restaurant now that pandas weren't her favorite animals. Even thought unicorns aren't real animals, but who am I to destroy her dreams, right?

I grabbed her small hand in mind and pulled her with me to where jason was standing watching our small interaction.

"Jason this is Chloe, Chloe this is Jason" I introduced the two. Chloe smiled and said a really loud hello while Jason bent down to her height and motioned for her to come closer.

"Daddy?" she asked confused. His eyes widen and he quickly looked at me for help. With a laugh I walked kneeled down next to down, being careful not to get dirt on my clothes.

"No Chloe, that's uncle Jason." I told her carefully making sure she didn't get upset for being turned down once again. Her smile dropped and for a second I got scared she was going to cry but a smile lit up her face before she threw herself onto Jason.

"Uncle Jason!" she giggled, pinching his cheeks and inspecting his face curiously.

"Well, aren't you a beauty?" he asked her sweetly. Her smile was enormous, her eyes big and blue. Chloe wasn't really and insecure child but who doesn't like compliments, right?

"Thank you, uncle Jason." she beamed at him. He chuckled and twirled her around making her dress make that cute wave loose dresses do when you spin.

"You look so much like your mother, you've got the same nose." he told her poking her small nose that was turning pink from the cold weather. "You also look a lot like..." my smile faltered when I saw his eyes widen. He looked back at Grayson who was still on the phone and then looked to me and then back to Grayson and then to Chloe who was smiling up at him.

"No way..." he muttered to himself.

"Jason please don't." I begged. His eyebrows furrowed together and his face turned into one of confusion.

"Why didn't you tell him, or me?" he asked. Hi tone wasn't mad he just seemed curious and confused.

"I couldn't. Just look at Grayson, do you think he has time for a kid or even wants one?" I told him. He turned to look at Grayson who was still holding the phone to his ear. He seemed stressed and angry at whoever he was on the phone with. His hands were in tight fists and he kept pacing back and forth. He wasn't prepared to be a father, and I  wasn't about to add another problem into his life.
