As I awoke my eyes fluttered open, I tried to move my limbs but they just weren't moving. My heart started to beat really fast, pounding against my chest with every breath I took, my body still refused to move, my eyes were furiously moving back and forth in my head. My body was paralysed! No sound escaped my mouth throughout all of this. My heart pounded erratically in my chest, my eyes started to hurt from constantly moving around. My heart got faster and faster, there was this weird beeping sound near my head, the sound was going incredibly fast, the beeping surrounded the room, the sound infiltrating my ears. "She's going into cardiac arrest!" My eyes started to slow down and I drifted off to sleep, my body fully relaxing.
I felt like I was floating, my body was drifting. My limbs felt weird; lifeless like they weren't there. Sounds came and went, the sound infiltrating my ears, snippets of chatter "It's been two weeks since she was sedated" drifting again floating away "Another week has passed and she still isn't showing signs of waking up" Up in the skies flying, my toes tingled my fingers started to twitch, I balled my hands into a fist. My eyes started to flutter, slowly they drifted open, I stared at the ceiling above me, surprised at how white the ceiling was it was almost blinding me. I turned my head to the side looking around at my surroundings. The room was plain white and it had one window which was covered with plain blinds, a slither of light escaped the blinds and highlighted the grey scratched marked floor. My eyes followed the pattern of the grey speckled floor til my eyes landed on the door. The handle slowly turned opening the door; I snapped my eyes shut pretending to be asleep. My ears perked up listening for any sound. I heard as the door opened and then proceeded to close. Footsteps slowly approached my bed. I felt eyes staring at me, it was so hard not to move or flinch. The person staring at me sighed out loud their breath of air washed over me. I heard a few more sounds, then the sound of the person's footsteps retreating away, the door being opened then shut. My eyes flew open looking around once again. I scooted up from where I was lying but my wrist was stuck on something, my eyes travelled down following my right arm down. I quickly drew in a startled breath, looking down to my wrist there was a silver cold metal cuff encircling my wrist, the other cuff was hanging from the metal on the side of the bed. 'What the hell!?' I thought while furiously yanking at my arm. The metal clanged loudly against the bed frame, my wrist was starting to get sore and was starting to bleed. I heard noise from behind the door I quickly laid down on the bed closing my eyes trying to even out my breathing. The door was thrown open banging loudly against the wall. The sounds of rushing footsteps followed the loud sound; my eyelids were forced open by the doctor. I knew what he was doing he was checking for consciousness. I didn't want them to know I was awake so I rolled my eyes up so only the whites of my eyes showed. "There's no sign of consciousness, her body must have had a seizure, it happens sometimes when the body is under stress. I suggest taking the cuff off her hand immediately, so her body can relax and heal properly also because I need to treat her wrist". I felt as the cold metal was taken of my wrist, and I mentally I sighed in relief. A pair of footsteps made their way back to the door and shut it silently behind them. I heard a noise of something being moved and then a sigh. The doctor gingerly picked up her injured wrist, and started to dab the blood away lightly "What happened to you young one, to cause such damage to one's self?" The doctor said quietly, when he had finished wrapping the bandage on my wrist he light placed my hand down and left the room shutting the door firmly after him.
