Chapter 4

'Unknown's P.O.V'

As I entered the hospital the strong smells of disinfectants invaded my nose. I wrinkled my nose in disgust and sniffed again trying to ignore the burning smell. There it was her honey scent coming from above me. I got into the elevator pressing the button for floor 1. I got off and sniffed once again following her scent to room 23. I listened for any sound but I couldn't hear a thing. Stupid soundproof rooms. I took a hold of the handle and quietly pushed the door open and shut it behind me. Before my eyes was a very disturbing scene, "Let go of me! No just let go! It's not time. I'm not going anywhere with you!" Emerson. was yelling her eyes bloodshot. She was pulling at her wrist frantically, which I saw wad enclosed in a metal cuff. "Please, please, please stop please let me go!" was the last thing I heard before she collapsed on the ground in a heap. I rushed over to her side and delicately placed her on the bed. Just then the door opened revealing a policeman and a doctor. I immediately recognized the cop " Hello Mr Johnston" I said politely he nodded at me in return 'Is this the girl Jayden?' Johnston asked I nodded my head in reply. The doctor didn't hear it though since he asks via the link, the doctor then spoke up "Hello my name is Dr. James I've been informed on your situation involving Miss Jenkins, Ill be releasing her into your care" Dr. James told me I nodded my head and thanked him. Happy that my father had organized it quickly. "She has been discharged sir you may take her now" the doctor informed me I thanked him once again and picked her up cradling her small body in my arms. I took her out to my car and layed her in the passenger seat, putting the blanket over her so she wouldn't get cold.

When I reached the house a lot of people were outside waiting to see the return of the missing girl. I pushed through them quickly while holding Emerson close. As soon as I got into the house I let out a loud breath. I looked down at her, she was so innocent she didn't have a clue what was going on inside of her body, she soon would though. I walked upstairs with her still in my arms and pushed open the door. I placed her on the bed gently and put the blanket over her body. Just as I was about to leave her the door opened further and two people walked in. "I was just about to get you's" I said to them they nodded their head back in return "That's alright son thankyou for getting her" "I had to dad she is my baby sister" . . . "I finally have my little girl back!" My mother blabbered reaching down and throwing her arms around Emerson, waking her up in the process. Emerson stiffened and then let out a ear piercing scream she started to violently thrash around the bed, her eyes frantically looked around the room when she spotted the window she made a leap for it. I was to late to react still a little in shock, she didn't hesitate just jumped out the window. Dad was fast to react after that jumping out the window after her. Mum ran down the stairs to the front door, I jumped out the window and landed gracefully on my feet. Emerson was a far distant away already but dad was hot on her trail, all of a sudden Emerson let out a screech and fell down and rolled down the engorgement, I ran at full speed and made it there in a matter of seconds. Emerson was next to a tree, she looked to had landed on it, her leg had a bone sticking out of the skin and she looked to not be able to breathe. 'I can't lose her now I just got her back' I thought to myself.
