Robert rounds the corner in to the alley and see the hooded figure heading for the other side. Picking through the ally at this time of day during a rain storm is definitely a bad idea but he has to find out what this thing is!

He has to look down alot because there are alot of things to trip over in an alley. "You would think these hobos would take pride in their home and clean this up..." He mumbles after the sixth time he almost falls on his face tripping over something he is sure he doesn't want to know what it is. He lost sight of the figure after the fourth time. It seems to be long gone.

"Sugar poop!" He exclaims! Which is the worst exclamation that he ever uses. (WTF stands for what the fruit...)

He walks the rest of the way to work off in his own little world (which honestly is nothing new) wondering what that could have been...

He arrives at work, late again, he really has no excuse and is not going to tell the truth. Especially after trying to explain to his boss about the dragon in Skyrim that made him late last time. Let's just say his boss didn't understand.

So when Drew (his boss) was talking to the hooded figure when he arrived it threw him for a loop.

"Oh Robert you are coming to work today." Drew says without a smile on his face.

"A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to." Robert responds.

Drew cocks his head to the side frowns and says "Anyhow this is Ralph. He is going to be part of the team here at 7-11."

Robert's mouth drops open. Looks at "Ralph" then back at Drew. "Are you serious!?"

"I'm quite serious Robert. He comes with very good references." He pats Ralph on the back and Ralph smiles revealing sharp needle like teeth and holds out a clawed hand as if to shake his.

Robert jumps back in alarm. Then gingerly takes his hand or claw or whatever and kind of shakes it, smiling back with alot of teeth showing, scared out of his mind.

Does Drew see him the way I do? Does he not? Both are equally disturbing. Am I finally facing the consequences of too many video games? What do I do? Just do my job? I guess?

"Raalllfff" the creature says smiling.

What now?! Robert has a monster for a coworker? I didn't see this coming. Did you?! I need more input. Comment! What happens next?!
