"Happy Birthday, Abbey!" Carson exclaimed.
I smiled back at him. "Thanks, babe."
It had been a week since Carson and I got together. Everyone had been fantasizing it, and now that it had become a reality, people had been talking about it on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat. We loved attention, after all, we were the hottest couple in Los Angeles, being famous singers and actors and all.
"So, what's it like being twelve?" Carson asked.
"You already know, I'm mean, your fifteen!" I giggled.
"Yeah but, I was twelve three years ago," Carson smiled.
"Well, so far so good, I mean I already got a boyfriend, a good career, and a good life," I said, playing along.
"Babe, would you mind telling me who your boyfriend is? I'd like to tell him to be good to you because you deserve the best," Carson said.
My heart just melted. "Well, I mean, he isn't the best, I could have better," I shrugged.
Carson looked offended. "Well, thank you for ruining my day."
"You know I'm just playing," I laughed. I gave him a light peck on the cheek.
"Abbey, I understand that soon you will be a teenager. It's gonna be real tough watching my baby grow up," Carson whimpered. I giggled.
"Alright lovebirds, break it up," Rachel, my best friend, smiled. Her boyfriend, Jacob Sartorius, had wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
"'Alright lovebirds, break it up,'" I repeated.
"Hey, don't hurt my baby," Jacob said.
"Jacob, it's okay," Rachel reassured him. Carson rolled his eyes. I nudged him lightly with my elbow. He grinned at me.
"Hey, Rachel, do you wanna go shopping today?" I asked.
"Sure! I'd love too. We'll have to go now, though because Jacob's taking me out tonight," Rachel nodded. I grinned.
"Great!"
