Hey guys:)
So a ton has happened over the past.. long ass time I've been away. I would like to apologize for my absence, but really that's all you hear from authors of fanfiction. I love this story, but there's so much from my life tied into it, that I realized it's becoming too personal to write, and I need to step away from it. Although, leaving the rest of it to imagination would be cruel thing for me to do, because I know you guys were interested, and I know you want to know what happens. I posted what I had typed for the last chapter, which wasn't much, but I didn't want to just toss it out. Anyway, here's what I have written in an old ratty notebook I've had since middle school, full of things describing what I really, really wish I had the motivation and bravery to write into this story. Enjoy:)
It was Hiccup who walked up behind Jack, not Penda. Jack stares at the ground and apologizes thoroughly for his behavior (him and Dash duke it out later, because seriously, that was some shitty advice), and Hiccup accepts his apology but is still kinda salty about the whole situation. After this it basically goes into rom-com mode, and Jack is running around getting advice from everyone because he's a dumbass. Tooth tells him to get him gifts like flowers and chocolate and is an all around wing woman (HAH), North suggests poetry and gives a few crappy examples of ones he wrote, Bunny gives him some shitty jokes, but all of these end horribly, and Hiccup is just mortified. He decides the night after the last of the shit that Jack pulled, that he was going to quit. He begins packing things away, when he hears music. This wouldn't usually faze him, but it sounded strangely familiar. He sneaks down the hall, pressing an ear to the door, and hears Jack softly singing Stoick and Valka's song. He begins to cry, and all he knows about this tune is that it struck a nerve very close to his heart, and he decides not to leave.
While all of this is going down, Chronos is planning to screw all of them over. Without getting into huge detail, he knows Hiccup heard the song and recognized it, and he's furious that it was left in his memory. He forms a plan, and takes Hiccup's clock from his wall. He waits through chapters of Hiccup and Jack growing closer and closer. Hiccup tells Jack about Riley, Jack talks about his sister, and eventually, Hiccup tells Jack about his dreams. Jack nearly cries from the news, but keeps it together enough to make it seem as if nothing was out of the ordinary. The day comes when Hiccup is almost sure he is in love with Jack. Everything is going great as Hiccup walks up to Jack's bedroom door, takes a deep breath, and as Jack opens the door...
Hiccup falls to the ground. Chronos had stopped his clock.
Hiccup is hospitalized and in a coma. Then Jack and Co. (ft. cupid and Penda) go on this big adventure to defeat Chronos, and man oh man you guys, I wish I could write it. But what I'll do, is let you know that they win. They don't kill Chronos, but they trap him. Hiccup wakes up, but his memories from his past and his current self are all jumbled together, he's scared and confused, and very unsure of what to do. The moon asks Hiccup, in way, what time meant to him. Hiccup says something along the lines of, "Time passes. For everyone and everything. We can't control it, but if we could, would we really alter at all? what would that change about the human life?" or some pretentious shit like that because I love the guy, but let's get real, he gets very preachy.
Satisfied with that answer, the moon confronts the other guys in charge (planets and such because the man in the moon isn't the only dude out there) and convince them that Hiccup would make a better time keeper than Chronos, and ye. Jack n Hiccup live happily ever after.
Thank you guys for reading, and I'm so sorry if I disappointed you. thankyouthankyou <3
