Kuroko Marry's POV
67- 58 in favor of Seirin.
Its already 7 minutes before 3rd quarter ends, and I gotta say...
I AM SO TIRED AS HELL. ( ; _ ; )
Why? I haven't used my moves for months since my rehabilitation!
Sure, I play basketball but not this! I was just slacking off and I focused my practice on my nondominant hand!
And good thing that Taicha is with me everytime we go play together! And he knows fully well that I AM exhausted in time like this.
"You okay Marry? Should I sub you out? And I know coach is planning to sub you out." He said while we prepare ourselves here on the other side of the gym. I catch a glimpse of Riko-chan looking at me with a frown forming on her face while her arms are crossed. She looks like a concerned mother while she is standing.
"No, I can manage. Maybe..." I mumble the last part. I fixed my arm sleeve and looked at Taicha who is looking at me with concern as well. I just waved it off and reassured him that I am doing fine.
As the Kaijo makes their way here, Kise-kun did the offense and Taicha did his role and did the defence. And I gotta say, Kise-kun improved the copycat skill and he did what Taicha does.
When Kise-kun was able to pass through Taicha, I blocked his path and now its our turn to go one on one.
"Please be nice to me." I smirked as I prepare myself for the worse.
"If I were any other players, I would really believe what you have just said-ssu. But for me, its so much the opposite!" He mocks but I kept my focus.
Kise-kun went to the right and I followed him there, but I have been looking at his footings when he went to the right. Because he did not lift his left foot like he just slides it so I did the same like him but quicker than him, so I went to the left ahead of him.
He was surpised by my action and I quickly turned around to the right again and used my left hand to smack the ball from him.
"Wha—"
"You are slow as always Kise-kun! Taicha!" Taicha got the ball that I smacked and all of us ran towards our side. The Kaijo are late to catch up but to Kise-kun he was able to chase Taicha and went infront of him to stop him from his track.
As I watched them battling, there is already a player stopping me from passing the ball to me. But, somethings wrong.
There is something that my stomach is bugging me... I think im hungry. (¯﹃¯ )
Just kidding!
"Hey hey hey!" I said, more like a shout. Some of my teammates looked at me and I saw Hyuga-senpai looked at my direction so since he was just on the left side, I moved abit for him to see my hand behind my back.
I formed a three on my hand and he understood it. He signals Izuki-senpai and the rest to perform the formation while we have a little time before either Kise-kun steal the ball or Taicha passes through him.
Then suddenly, we all moved around and the Kaijo are startled of our sudden changes.
'I admit that all of them are really good at blocking us from Taicha but, I have been analyzing them...'
As Hyuga-senpai and I passes through each other, I embraced myself with my arms to screen the one who is pinning Hyuga-senpai; Kasamatsu Yukio, the Captain of Kaijo
He was taken aback when I able to stopped him from chasing our captain, "wha—?! I-I didn't think th-that your this strong to screen someone like m-me!" He suddenly blurted. I want to giggle and tease their captain because he was stuttering, but I have no time for that. (๑'• ₃ •̀๑)
To be able to work our plan, it will only take 26 seconds to be able make a point. I raised my hand and called Taicha to pass the ball to me, let's do this.
Okay, a little story on why I put the 'hey! Hey! Hey!' in this chapter.
You see, there was this practise match of basketball in my school, and as i was watching them play, i noticed that whenever they are kinda struggling to break out of the enemy's defenses, the other player (the captain btw.) He would use this "HEY! HEY! HEY!" and the player will pass the ball to him and he would make the point. (^_^)
I dunno if i should laugh at it or think how cool it was. But meh! Is this the same as the any other basketball teams that would use HEY! HEY! HEY! ????? oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
