Chapter 7

Flashback

"Where have you been Marry?! Everyone is worried sick! Especially him! I'm calling him now!" He was about to get his phone in his pocket when I grabbed his hand, " N-no! Please dont! Please dont call Onii-chan! I-I have a reason!" I pleaded.

He looked at my pleading face for awhile and removed his hand from his side pocket...

"Marry. You know I can't disobey him... Especially this nanodayo..." He said. 

I opened my umbrella and walked five steps and turned around, "Don't tell this to onii-chan, let them find me..." I said, and turn towards the street and walked...

Aida Riko's POV

"Alright minna! 3 laps around school and take a shower and go home!" I yelled.

"Hai!!" They started jogging and went out of the gym, I saw Marry-chan behind them with Kagami-kun, "ahh Marry-chan!" I called, she turn around, "come here for a sec."

"Hai?" She tilted her head.

"Could you please take this to the office? I have loads to do and I won't be able to make it there so... onegai?" I said.

"Sure! I'll take it!" She smiled, I took the pile of papers in my bag and was about to handed her when...

"I'm going now--- ah!" I knew it.

When she took the pile of papers using both of her hands, She did not know that it was small weights rapped in the envelope with the pile of papers. Since the first day I met her, I already noticed that she is bothered by something, and after few club activities with her I finally found out that there is something wrong in her physical status, specifically her left arm.

"A-ahhh..." She fell on her knees, shocked from what happened with the weights and papers scattered around the floor.

"Since when?" I asked, as I bend down and get the papers. She looked at me still shocked from what happened.

"Y-you... Know?" She muttered yet enough for me to hear her, I nodded.

"Since the first day of your club..." I answered her and confusion written all over her face, " I have very keen eyes and smart enough to know what my team's capabilities you know. accidents like sprains does not get away from me."

"I see..." Silence filled between us as she finally helped me gather all the stuffs on the floor.

"It's been 2 years." She muttered.

I suddenly looked at her and was shocked from what I heard from her.

"Two years? You didn't even consult to a doctor??" I said.

"That is... why I migrated to America to treat my injury..." She said softly as we able to get all the papers and wieghts on the floor. My expression was still shock.

"Any improvement?" I muttered. At this point I don't want to be insensitive with what she is trying to say. base on what I hear or see is that it is too personal topic for her...

"Yes, the doctor said that the muscle and veins are all tangled, or should I say nor in their propers places but were able to fix it somehow. Though I have hard time moving them... alitte." My eyes widened and looked intently on her left arm. As I looked at it closely, her arm is different from her right. It could tell that there is something in there.

I was hesitant at first and did not think of what I will say when  I asked her what happened. She looked at me while I looked at her, I did not know if I pitied her or something but save by the bell-

"Pheww! Done finally!! Eh? Kuroko? Coach? What happened?" Hyuuga-kun asked as they walked towards us.

"Uhhh... We suddenly dropped these weights because..." My mind was out of place when I panicked.

"Ano! Because they're heavy that I was not able to hold them all ehehehe!" She sweat drops as she saved me from stumering.

They did not asked us anymore and went to the changing room to change before going home. Me and Marry-chan walked on the side of the gym to place the things that we are holding on the bench.

"I'm sorry that I pushed through all this. I know that it is a sensitive topic for you too you know..." I said and smiled at her reassuring that I did not meant to force her all this.

She shook her head and smiled, " its okay senpai. I know that you are not the type of person to use this against me. I trust you!" She said.

"Thank you... but never push yourself to much okay? I would surely know!" I reminded her before she go to the changing room.

"Hai!" She beamed and went to Kagami-kun.

As I was fixing my things, I can't think of anything but about her arm, I know there is something wrong with it but...

 It is even lower than her other arm at the level of critical.
