Chapter 19

Kuroko Marry's POV

I was panting on my place at the side of defense while my hands are on my knees. I looked at them from the otherside of the court while my teammates tried to make a point. I looked at the scoreboard that we only have 3 minutes before the match is over and we only have 2 points left in order to win over Kaijo.

Maaannn I am SWEATING all over and I can't take that! I want to take a shower alreadyyヽ(●ﾟ'Д｀ﾟ●)

"Marrychi you alright?" I looked beside me to see Kise-kun, I turn my gaze infront of me and they are coming towards my place and the ball is in Kaijo's hands so I stood my position.

I tried to outblock Kise-kun because he was guarding me, as I was doing this I replied to his question.

"Naahhh I can manage! And don't worry about me, I have a scary coach who's gonna whoop my tiny ass I complain!" I sheepishly answered him and was able to free from his block and went straight to the center to block a Kaijo player to score!

'Oh no you don't...!'I stood firmly because we are kinda packed under the net and we are bumping to each other. At my peripheral vision I saw Taicha looking like he dropped his favorite cheeseburger at me and as much I want to give him the 'do-I-look-like-a-meat-to-you?'look, I cant because I am covering myself from these sweaty elbows ಠ╭╮ಠ

I tried to get the ball from the Kaijo player's back when his elbow ALMOST hit my chest that made me jolt back and squeeked like a mouse from the player that made me hit another player. I turn my head to the side to see that it was Izuki-senpai that is holding me on my shoulders.

"I got this." He said but I did not hear it that clearly because it was too fast that I wasn't able to hear because he pushed me out of where the sweaty players collides to each other to steal the ball.

I was pushed back when another pair of hands held my shoulders to keep my balance I guess and I looked back to see it was Kise-kun. I was abit surprise when I noticed that he did not helped his teammates to make the score.

"I should've screen you more effortly-ssu. You almost got elbowed there, I saw it." He said seriously and then left me where I am standing and went inside the lane to help his teammates.

I didn't move from my position because I was pushed here on the three point lane and so I walked to the middle of the court so that whatever happens is that some of us is ready to score before the time runs out.

As I was waiting, Kise-kuns face flash through my mind. It was quick because we were able to get the ball and everything went fast.

But that moment, I saw Kise-kun's face. I saw how he looked when he held my shoulders and the way he did not joined the heat inside.

I saw how terrified and hurt he was when I turn around to look at him...
