Krysy's POV

It's been a week since Nicole was put in prison and Xavier is still convinced she's not guilty.

"How?" I was confused.

"There's no time to explain. What day is it today?"

"Monday 1st of August. Why?"

His eyes widened. "Today is when she's put to death"

"Put to death? But the authorities said she'd be released after 10 years! Not put to death after 10 days!"

"That's what they said to her or else she'd escape. They do that to all their prisoners"

"We've got to get there before she gets killed. When will they do it?"

"At noon. What time is it?"

"11:45"

"We have 15 minutes to get there and stop them from killing her."

We out the room and down the stairs.

"Where are you going?" Miya and Paris both asked in unison.

"No time to explain. Come on!" Without hesitation they followed us into the car. He all hopped in.

"STEP ON IT!!!!" Xavier began checking his mirrors and adjusting things. I got out the car and ran around it. I pushed him out the way onto the passengers seat and buckled my seat belt.

"Hold on tight. This is gonna be one bumpy ride"

"Do you even know how to drive?"

"I've watched fast and furious 1 to 7 I think I know how to drive!"

I have no idea how to drive but there's a first time for everything. I know where the brakes are and the accelerator so it can't be that hard! Also this is an automatic car so it should be quite easy to master.

I started the car and began driving so fast I didn't think it was even legal. On the way Xavier explained to them where we were going and why we were in such a hurry to get there.

They both made an 'O' shape with their mouths. We made it there in like 2 minutes flat I'm pretty sure that's a world record.......

and illegal.

I lept out the car.

"You forgot to lock it!" I heard Xavier call behind me.

"Lock it yourself!" I threw him the keys. I'm not sure if he caught it or not but it didn't matter. Paris and Miya stayed close behind me.
We had to stop them hanging her before it's too late!

Nicole's POV

I woke up with a bang.

What was that?

Two men who I hadn't seen before grabbed me by the arms and dragged me out the cell. I screamed and yelled.

I'm not going down without a fight!

I managed to wriggle free but one of them grabbed me by the waist and carried me away.I managed to escape again. I ran and ran. I actually didn't know where I was going. I ran into a room and slammed the door shut.

I turned around to see Dominique standing there confused.

"What's going on?"

"Some random people I don't know are trying to take me away I don't know why there are but I-"

"Hey hey slow down..."

Then someone entered the room I thought it was a guard but it was just Alex who entered the room.

"Alex, what's going on?" Dominique asked him

"Nicole's due to be hanged today, that's why the guards are after her."

Oh....

Then Dominique exclaimed. "GUARDS SHE'S IN HERE!!!" I faced Dominique. "What did you just do?!" I hissed at him

He smirked. "You don't get it do you?" I shook my head. "When you yelled for Andre yesterday, he handed me over to my patrol officer, and let's just say I didn't sleep last night. You snitch on me, I snitch on you."

He held me so I couldn't run away. The guards came in and he handed me over. As they dragged me away I looked at him. I felt betrayed. My eyes filled with tears as I saw his smirking face as I was dragged away.

I was so miserable and shocked I didn't realized we'd got there. It was a plain room. With a noose hanging from the ceiling. I put my head through the hole.

I ran through the prison. I barged into a cell and saw a man standing there. He spoke.

"If you're looking for Nicole she was taken away"

"Taken where?" Miya Paris and I spoke in unison.

"To the hang room. Duh!"

"And where might that be?" I asked.

"Go straight and make a right at the drinks machine. It's the brown door on the left."

"Thanks" was the last thing I said before sprinting off. We ran into the room. It was empty.

"We're too late" I said as tears filled my eyes.

This is all my fault
