I was so weirded out when I woke up on Sam's living room floor. I looked around, blurry eyed. "Beth?!" Said Sam, worriedly. "Yes?" I replied. "Are you ok?!" He grabbed me up and we hugged for a few seconds. "I'm fine..." I whispered. "Yeh, see she's FINEEE! I told you she would be, the faker ¬_¬." Said Lilly, stubbornly. "Ugh, just hush Lilly!" Said Sam, glaring up at her and then looking back down to focus on me. The flash back of my dad threatening me with the souls from the oujia board rocked in my mind. My face seemed deep in thought. "Hey Beth, maybe you should have a little rest?" Asked Sam, curiously. "Why use that 'curious' tone on her, Sam?" Said Lilly, placing her hands on his face from the other side of me. I was still led on the floor and just glared at Sam. He noticed and nugged her off instantly. "I'm not intrested..." He said, looking at me. "Ugh!" Groaned Lilly. Sam picked me up in his arms and I buried myself in his chest as he carried me upstairs. "Your brother home today?" I asked. "No, my mum's treating him to a day of clothes shopping, fun for a boy like him." I smiled at that. He laid me on his bed and kissed my cheek. I giggled softly and looked into his eyes, loosing myself to his charm. He had a great duvet of Yuno Gasai. When he left the room to go get me something to drink I smothered myself in it. He came back, smiling with a glass of pepsi max in hand. I took it, thanking him. I drank as he grabbed a stall and sat next to the bed. "So tell me...why did you faint?" He asked. I heard Lilly slamming the door downstairs and I stared into my drink, watching the fizz bubbles pop up from no where. "Well..." I began. "I did have a dad once...he wasn't the sorta dad anybody wants though. He beat me around the house, pervert he was! He used to threaten me with the demons of a oujia board because of my Christian belief..." I paused for a slight second. "You'll protect me, won't you?" I said, gazing into his eyes. "Heh, of course I will." He said, smiling shyly. I got up. "I shall be fine..." I said and began walking downstairs. Sam followed.

                                                                         Sam's perspective

I was walking behind her as we went downstairs, creepily smelling her hair as we walked. I felt like now wasn't a great time to ask her to the movies next Saturday. "So, do you have any uniform?" She asked me. "No..." I replied. "Well, I have a bit of money and I'm sure we can find you some blouses and school trousers. I mean, I've never asked...How old ARE you?" "U-uh...16." I told her. "I see, well you would still be in school however me being 17 I'm doing my GCSEs. That allows me to wear anything I want to school however you a specific outfit." She told me. "Well, I haven't been to school for 2 years..." I told her. We sat down and we talked about school outfits. I kept going off subject so I wouldn't have to talk about school but she'd always go back to it. I love her, but I cant tell her...
