I jump at the voice and turn to my right. I'm amazed how anyone can even find this place. I mean it took me a whole forest to do so.

I see two feet- then four feet - then six feet. Three people. I react fast and jump to the floor and land on my feet.
What are they doing here? What do they want? And from me- nobody wants anything to do with me. What if they're here to get me for stealing at the corner stores? What do I do? Do I run? Yes. Yes, I will run.

I panic and start running.

"We don't want to hurt you!" I'm amazed. I stop running and turn to the voice. Turns out he already grabbed me hand. That fast?! I look up to the face.

I see a teenage boy with white hair and black or gray tips, dressed in a midnight purple cape, a fancy circus shirt- with little adorable Lavender bunnies at the bottom of the sleeves, and slit skinny jeans, black converse, and shiny piercings that I can see shining in the light.

"Who are you guys and what do you want?" I ask politely.

"We want you to be in our carnival and circus." He says calmly. He loosens his grip.

Why would anyone need me for anything?

That's what I thought.

"You're not gonna take me?" I look to the side where the the other people's feet were. There is a teenage boy with red colored hair, red t-shirt, orange slit skinny jeans, black converse.

I look at the other person. It's a girl, dressed in a tight, black and purple leotard, purple hair, and black converse.

"Take you where? The circus?" The boy in red hair ask. I shake my head and lick my lips. His voice is not too deep, not too high. Just right, somewhat deeper than the boy in the cape.

"The police." I answer slowly. He chuckles. The girl clears her throat, I turn.

"Oh honey, where we're going- there isn't any police." She has a sweet voice. That voice you can trust. I look back at the boy in the cape.

"I can't join you. I don't even know who you guys are." I respond.

"But you are an amazing acrobat. My Karnival needs you. Not only for that but you kick ass like you're kicking around some pebbles. I've seen you punch those walls." He smiles.

"How are the people there?"

"Oh they're barely even human. I think you'll like them, they're just like you."

"Well all the best people are crazy." I smile.
