Third Person's POV

Charlotte and Barry Allen were sat in Barry's lab at the CCPD. Barry had just gotten back from going to see the Particle Execrator at S.T.A.R Labs.

Charlie was supposed to have gone, but Joe, her foster dad had made her stay at the Precinct after a argument with him, about her seeing her dad.

Now both she and Barry were looking over their mother's case, trying to see if there was anything to get their dad free.

...

Charlie's POV

"You know Barry, only you would insist on going to your lab in the middle of a storm, I was hoping to go home." I say as I look at my only brother. He looked over to me and smiled.

"I already told you, I want to add this clipping to my evidence from the night of Mom's murder" he says.

"And I already told you, I don't mind so long as you buy me fries." I say as I smiled softly to him.

Barry smiled back at me and switched on the television. The news reporter was talking about some disaster at S.T.A.R. labs. "Hey, have you heard anything about S.T.A.R. labs lately?" he asked me.

Now don't get me wrong, I like science and all and I'm a senior at the age of 15 (impressive, I know). But that's just sad, he's been mad about the accelerator since it was first said to be made. Well I guess I can't really talk considering only 3 months ago I was scouted and sent letters of internship from the 3 top science companies with in Central City.

Stagg Industries, Mercury Labs and S.T.A.R Labs are the top places to work in science. When I had received them in the mail, I cried once I had seen the one from S.T.A.R Labs, though only Joe, my foster sister Iris and Barry knew about S.T.A.R Lab's. It has been my goal to work there and once I had gotten Internships I knew which to chose. I even have my trail day in two days at S.T.A.R Labs for a whole month.

"Not since they switched on the Accelerator." I replied, frowning at the screen. I was curious to know what was happening because if something was to happen say big boom then we'd all be in trouble.

"Never mind. I'll look into it tomorrow," said Barry, turning back to his noticeboard and pinning up the article. We both stood for a minute, remembering the night that everything changed. The night everything changed for the both of us; the night we lost our mother.

Flashback (Third Person's POV)

Charlie heard glass shatter not long after her mommy had put her to bed, more noises followed in crashes and bangs. Sitting up, rubbing her sleepy and tired eyes, she pushed back her covers and climbed out of her tiny bed. Running as fast as her little one year old legs would carry her, she reached up and opened the door. Stepping out of her room, she didn't notice the milk from her cup rising into the air.

Just as she reached the top of the stairs her big brother, Barry, had stepped up to her and took her hand.

Both stepped down the steps, one at a time only to be greeted by flashes of yellow and red all swirling around, their mother kneeled in the middle.

Both not knowing what to do, rushed down to the archway. Staring with wide eyes, Charlotte Allen leaped forward only to be pulled back by her brother in an attempt to keep her safe.
